I found this forum section and figured it might be fun to take some questions. Feel free to ask me anything you like I will try to be honest.

 

You can call me Anti for short- like antitoxin. My favorite My Little Pony character switches, but I consistently love Rainbowdash and also Fluttershy (not just because my OC looks like her) but because I too have a love of animals and I understand what it's like to be very shy. My favorite Littlest Petshop character is probably Pepper or Buttercream. Pepper reminds me a bit of when I was a little kid. Buttercream reminds me of when I had my bunny because she's so happy and weird just like my little bunny was.

I'm a little confused what you mean, but I'll try my best to answer.

I like to see people behaving maturely. I like to talk about a wide range of subjects, some most people might deem taboo. But I believe that talking about all subjects with respect, maturity and tolerance can teach you alot. I've made alot of good friends by showing curiosity in a subject they enjoy but others have been put off by because they deem it taboo; like furries. That's why I got into a pony fandom. I had friends who were bronies telling me about how great the show was, but most people gave them a hard time because they were guys and watching a girls show. Instead of judging I wanted to learn more and ended up becoming a brony myself. I try and be as kind as I can with people and treat them with respect but I can have a vicious temper if I feel like someone is being harmed or being treated unfair. I hope I answered your questions.

 

I tend to over analyze things. I have a very logical mind. When people ask me a questions I tend to get so many ideas it's hard for me to condense it down without writing an essay; which is great for college, but bad on forums and chat LOL
I understand what you mean by irrational hate towards subcultures. I've always been what most people would deem as 'odd' given I'm punk, geeky and artistic. I've always been in the subculture and have experienced a lot of hate. When I was a teen, other parents use to tell my mother that I was troubled, or she needed to crack down on me and straighten me out because of how I dressed and I've always been 'outspoken'. They assumed I was up to no good. In fact, I was incredibly well behaved and cared about doing well in school. They're judgement was unfounded and my mother knew that and scoffed at their judgement.
I also don't like when other subcultures judge each other. I do makeup for theater productions in my town so I am around many people who are gay and do drag queen shows. They've experienced a great deal of hatred, but I got very upset with them when they were making fun of some of my furry friends. They accused them of being into animals and being deviants. I explained to them what being a furry was really about and shamed them for assuming they were deviants and reminded them that's what people who are ignorant assume of them. I think they understood after that. I was also rather ashamed of some bronies recently for giving some people a hard time for liking Littlest Pet shop- for shame fellow bronies, for shame!
I also try and remember as my great grandma said; do the best you know how to do, and when you know better you do better.

Actually, I love Luna. She's the Princess of the night, which being into astronomy means I appreciate the night. She may seem abrupt, but she's the most approachable.
I actually only like the animals of Littlest Petshop, the people kinda freak me out. Darn their freakishly large heads! Blythe's dad is pretty funny, course he looks like Mitt Romney to me.

 

I enjoy Dragon Ball Z, I don't watch it consistently though because I only catch it on cable at work. I never got into Naruto though, but I love anime and manga.
As far as DC or Marvel, I love superhero movies, I never got into comics or the cartoons, but I'll watch any superhero movie you put in front of me, even if it was rated as bad. I have a love of villains in movies- a good villain makes a great movie.

I'm a big Gary Larson fan. In 2004, I was trying to come up with a screen name for my deviantART account. I had a book of Gary Larson's cartoons from the library sitting on my desk and remembered the one that made me laugh the most. Unfortunately, the book I had, had a printing error in it and it was Antidaeophobia instead of Anatidaeophobia. I've become known around the net by Antidaeophobia I wouldn't want to change it.

 

I'm not sure, I don't think so, but that would be interesting to find out that they were. If they are, talent must run in the family.

 

I'm a fan of many shows. I watch many different shows because I work at my desk all day (artist) so I catch a lot of programs.
I love Supernatural, my favorite character is Castiel and Dean. I enjoy Law & Order SVU. I also watch Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (old show). I'm a huge fan of Star Trek original and Star Trek Next generation as well as being a Doctor Who fangirl.

Yes, the Martians are very friendly. It's a wonderful place to visit. The red sands are spectacular. You'll want to visit Noctis Labyrinthus “labyrinth of the night” while you're there, I suspect Luna named it. In particular take a look at Valles Marineris- it is one of the the largest canyons in the solar system, trumping the grand canyon by far. If you like big holes in the ground, you'll love Valles Marineris.
You'll be able to catch Phobos and Deimos (fear and panic), the irregular shaped moons in the sky. Deimos circles twice a day- I suspect Discord had some hand in the whole mars moon business.
Make sure you don't miss the auroras on Mars either, they are beautiful.
BTW- if you're looking for a good place to eat, always ask the locals.

I have so many shows I enjoy I can barely keep track. That's the problem with being a fangirl LOL

 

I have an issue with consumerism. I don't like this throw away society we've created, not just with products, but people are now being thrown away if they need public assistance, they are looked down upon. I personally, would rather more of my check get spent towards public aid than worrying about getting a new cellphone I don't need.

I don't like the pressure that is put on people to buy more they don't need and companies it seems are banking on this in the extreme by making products that don't last or wear well. My Mothers ipad she got for her birthday barely lasted the year.

Also, instead of advancing the technology as far as possible, making products better for the enviroment and then putting out a new product, they'll come out with something new every few months that may only have 1 or 2 newer features.

Don't get me wrong, I love technology and I to have caught the consumer bug from time to time. It happens every time I have a steady paycheck. Usually the first paycheck I have from any job I end up blowing on shopping because I know all the rest after that will have to go towards bills. I had to remind myself that 'no, I don't need that new ipod, the one I have is good enough'.

I don't like also that many of the products we buy come from 3rd world countries where the people work in very bad conditions and they couldn't even afford the products they made with a years salary. I get in many conflicts with my male family members because they are very conservative and I'm an anarchist, but also very much into providing people with if they need the help. They're more of the 'pull yourself up by your bootstraps and if you don't make it then you didn't try hard enough' and they're always ranting about 'welfare queens' *rolls eyes*

I'm generally disgusted by consumerism, especially at Christmas time. Nothing is worth trampling or killing someone over. I'd rather have nothing for the holidays than know that my gifts came at the expense of harming someone, sweatshop labor and intense stress for employees at the store. Instead of gifts last Christmas, my mom and I made dinner at home and watch Hearth's Warming Eve from My Little Pony it was really nice.

Sorry if I started to rant, I tend to get carried away. What can I say, it's the activist in me. LOL

 

Anarchy is actually more of a philosophy than a political standing. There is a wide spectrum of anarchy. Most people believe that anarchist believe in no laws or reasonability, but actually it's more of a belief in personal laws and morality, monitoring yourself so government doesn't get involved, bringing government to a bare minimum, making sure the government stays out of affairs and personal lives such as drugs, reproduction, religion and marriage and making more personal things like that are legal and that as long as they aren't harming people and taking away others safety and rights- then it's no ones business what they're doing. Anarchist also believe in pushing the boundaries of what is considered taboo and exploring their own freedom while encouraging others to do the same- whether that be political or personal. I also believe in always questioning authority. Like most anarchist, I believe a government should live in constant fear of it's people, not the other way around. We're a mostly peaceful lot though.

You can also be anarchist plus have political beliefs-there are communist/socialist anarchist like myself that believe that the government should be small, stay out of people lives and personal affairs such as drugs, marriage and reproduction and has no right to make laws on it, but we still believe in the democratic system, believe that taxes and publics services are important and also want to even the gap between rich and poor to create a middle more widespread middle class and reduce homelessness.

As far as your comment on conservatism; I agree. I don't like people that judge or have a superiority complex. I get many conservative posts on my facebook page and I've had to start blocking people. Having so many chronic illnesses, I can't work much and I have to rely on public assistance. So when people I known all my life make fun of people who need assistance, knowing full well I'm one of them. I take it as a personal affront.

In fact, someone sent me this image. They know my situation but apparently they thought this appropriate to send me.
(that's not what the park service says at all; they say you shouldn't feed the animals because they become to friendly to people and could bite and spread disease to humans. This will lead to them being euthanized.)
