It really sucks living in Texas, where I don't get to enjoy four distinct seasons like everyone else. I wish I could move up north.
Uh, I live in Texas, and I have for distinct seasons: Blistering hot, cool random weather and brown trees, cold random weather, and warm overcast and raining!
This thread title could've gone 4 different ways: -Despair over seasonal weather -Despair over the cancellation of MLP -Despair over not finding an available Four Seasons hotel. -Despair over not being able to go to a Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons concert. Anyway, carry on. :B
Meet Southern California. You get an okay winter, a spring that lasts only a week or so, followed by 80 degree heat which only gets worse when summer really hits, then fall doesn't even exist it just goes straight to winter. Or where I live specifically, you get hot and windy, or cold and windy. Sometimes it's just a breeze type of wind.. sometimes it's wind storms. XD <3
I am, I just live in D/FW where I don't get a chance to get used to extremely hot weather except for during summer
Sounds pretty much the same as where I used to live in North Queensland Australia. We only had 2 season as well. Summer was hot 36ºC (96-97ºF), humid 70-100%, start dry with fires, end wet with tropical storms and cyclones (they always seemed to just miss us). And Winter got down to about 16ºC (61ºF) in the mornings if you're lucky, with average humidity, everything would still be green from the summer rain and the temperature would start to drop. Perfect weather if you ask me. Then with no rain everything starts to dry out and the heat and humidity of summer crawl back around and it's fire season again.
I live in England where the seasons go like this: Overcast and Pouring rain Slightly less rain with some sun Cold with rain Extremely cold with delayed snow heading into spring.
