3 people confirmed dead, unknown amount of casualties in total. Dozens have been injured. WARNING: If you, or anyone you know lives in the Greater Boston area, stay away from garbage cans, and the JFK Library, apparently that's where there's more problems. Unfortunately the people in the VIP bit which got hit were the families of people from the Newtown disaster...
I've checked my PMs, but I'm not seeing anything from you. Try sending it again. But yeah, some of the footage is grisly, there's blood all over the sidewalk.
Im hearing loads of people guessing who it may have been, AQ, korea, and loads of others. But I must recommend this conversation is moved to serious discussion, Since this really doesnt feel like the enviroment to be discussing a sensitive topic like this in.
I don't think the police have confirmed that it's bombs, however there was a third controlled explosion elsewhere, which suggests police bomb squads setting it off. The JFK Library fire is apparently unrelated, which makes me think it could be an explosive gas problem or something, but idk I'd need to see more info first. My big question is who would do this sort of terror attack? Thoughts go out to victimes and families.
Well some news stations have said police may have found a 4th explosive device. People are gonna probably be putting blame on NK because of the date this falls on. I don't want to point fingers yet, so I guess I'll wait till more info comes out. Tragic incident, thoughts go out to all of those injured and to the familes of those who have lost friends and kin.
Er, is it seriously being considered that North Korea is behind it? What could they possibly gain from doing this?
Probably isn't, but you know they're gonna be discussed later. Edit: It looks like the JFK event was part of this as well.
Re: General Chat Thread 3: And theeeeeeen!? Almost definitely domestic. An international attack would be on something of military, political, or symbolic value. Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk 2
Even so, if it was NK, they'd hit a military target. Doing something like this gains them nothing. Though i wouldn't be surprised if politicians point their fingers at Korea anyway.
