I am going to be glued to my couch today: First, have to watch my school, OSU: University of Toledo @ (#15) The Ohio State University - 12:00PM EST Then, have to suck it up and root for the Lions to represent the Big Ten: (#3) University of Alabama @ (#23) Penn State University - 3:30PM EST Then, I can squeeze in my Hamburger SV game which will be done by now: Hamburger SV @ SV Werder Bremen - After the Penn State game (starts 6:30 PM, CET, so will be done and recorded by this time) Finally, of course, my home town baseball team, the Yankees: New York Yankees @ Los Angeles Angels - 9:05PM EST
Sounds like a blast. Not really a fan of your teams though. Nationals ,even though they always do bad.
Oh... I see... You guys finally managed to bring the Big House into the modern age with electric lighting tonight. Playing against the Irish, who are on like a 15 year hangover. You know, a couple decades ago, this was a very serious game. Didn't even make my list today.
I can't really stand watching sports. The only thing that got my through the colossal migraine and terrible football game of my friend's on Labor Day weekend (Atlanta vs. Boise; ATL got annihilated) was being high.
A trend that is quickly reversing. It is hard to imagine that the last Michigan players to remember defeating Ohio State were graduated in 2006, if they were freshmen with the 2003 team. And somewhere in there, Michigan became the first ranked I-A team to lose to a I-AA team and Ohio State won 5 BCS bowls, including a National Championship.
