Religious people who have a need to shove their religions down others' throats. Or anyone who believes in or believed in manifest destiny. I'm fine with my religion, and others are too. Why is there a need for your religion to be forced. Tolerance and lovin' thy neighbor, or whatever.
Concerning the bombing of the Boston Marathon: Stop freaking out! Fear and confusion are the primary goals of a terrorist act. People need to calm down, and not give in to fear.
I can't stand this whole controversy with gay marriage if a guy loves another guy and they want to get married then let them get married there's nothing wrong with that. Anyone else agree?
This even being an issue is stupid. All because a bunch of people listen to a book. This is by far the easiest thing ever in the world to decide. It hurts my brain to think that people still opposes it
Christian Loyalists will say that America was founded as a Christian nation, while the Treaty of Tripoli actually states that it isn't. Excerpt from said Treaty; As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion,—as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen (Or Muslims),—and as the said States never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries. This also applies to America itself and all religions therein. I dunno why people want to say it's a Christian nation. There is a clear reason why there are more and more atheists every year in America, you know.
but who cares what their little book says, they already pick and choose what parts they follow. I just have a hard time seeing the issue. Even if a book says no, why do they care? Maybe I need to be religious to understand.
~Unpopular Opinion Time According to Tumblr~ Pansexuality. I absolutely cannot stand the way people are using this label. It's not so much a hatred as much as it is a deep-seated agitation. Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing wrong with pansexuals, nothing at all, everybody is free to practice their sexuality in any way they feel, I could honestly care less. But here's what gets my goat: the people who run around claiming to be pansexual because it's this supposed 'pinnacle' of sexual tolerance despite they fact that they aren't actually pansexual. I will see people going around on tumblr, on skype, and a few times even on this site, running around saying about how they are a proud 'pansexual', and then a sentence later talk about how they have a preference on either guys or gals. Stop that. Pansexuality, by definition, is essentially what is known as gender blind, meaning, you absolutely cannot have a preference of any kind in regards to gender. Bisexuality, by definition, is the capacity to hold sexual attraction for more than one gender. Bisexuality and Pansexuality are not interchangeable and abusable terms to make you look like a more 'accepting' person, you're either one or the other at one given point in time. It is not your tool to make you look more liberal, it is not your tool to make you look 'better' than anybody else, it is a legitimate term used to describe a person's sexuality. Stop treating it like a goddamn tool to make yourself look 'cool'.
Zeph, I love you so much. I share the same sentiment. I am completely by the books Heterosexual, plain and simple. Personally, I think most youth today choose to claim bisexuality cause of their ignorance of the true meaning.
Seconding the PETA one, and not even just for the Pokémon and Assassin's Creed thing. Dear PETA: - Women are not farm animals. Stop continually comparing the two. - Meat-eaters are not lesser people. - Cats and dogs can't live on a vegan diet. - There is nothing wrong with body hair. Stop contributing to the shaming. - Spending most of your money on ads doesn't help animals. - You know what else doesn't help animals? Killing 95% of them in your shelters as they arrive.
I agree one hundred percent with you. That's why I'm starting PUTP. People for the Unethical Treatment of PETA.
...First person I've disliked on this website. Sad. Why is gay marriage a crime against humanity? Explain.
