Ya, I really don't think we need this. It's looking like it might be held for around 100 people, so it's unlikely we'll need so much staff. I mean, we'd need a DJ... I think I know somebody who could do that.... Otherwise, I should think we'd be okay.
we should get more wiltshire bronies in on this as it seems like were the only three since remix, sentry starshine and whaffle king have stoped posting on ep
Dude, I added you on Skype ages ago, you never responded... We have a group there with quite a few other Wiltshire bronies
hmm so agree no need to send out info for volunteers? and awesome! Im just being mr OTT with this. Its a habit of mine :S sorry.....
Sorry bro i didnt know i haven't been on there for so long but i have know so yay :derpe: - - Auto Merge - - Thats cool i do that sometimes as well:derpe: , i just think that we need to keep simple, then after that we could develop more ideas for meetups and cons in swindon.
Agreed with ponypopping. Well I had a few ideas, please feel free to post yours or send a message either way, Maybe host a talent comp or something similar? raffle? small things im thinking. I do have an army of performing arts students who COULD help, not promising anything. Thoughts?
i like the talent comp not sure about the raffle but yeah small things just like not a commite of people, just some wiltshire bronies or whatever have a meet up in the white hart thats all really then we could do more things then if it goes well "army of art students" ha small world so do i but they have no idea what or who bronies are
The White Hart we're unsure about now. It'd be perfect for if it was a smaller meet, consisting of, say, 40 people. Especially given it's fantastic location. However, if we're going bigger, I'd say we should go for the Phoenix. Depends on how many are going. I don't think we'll be getting enough attention that the White Hart's limited space'd be a problem. (We're allowed up to 80 people there.) The White Hart'd allow us our own enterance which we could pony up (i think i might now a place where we could get life-sized pony cutouts, as well as oodles of other pony party stuffs. :3), enough space for a DJ, a buffet, a bar, a car park, a nice garden and bench area, a good location right next to a bus stop, a Toys R us store VERY NEAR BY... for £100 for the night. The Phoenix is awkward to get to, as it's in the small town of Wootton Bassett. However, it provides up with a large club room which'd be better if we're doing a larger meet (Could probably fit a few 100 inside...), a Stage where we can have our DJ and make announcements, a separate bathroom, and a bar. It'd cost £100 plus a £100 deposit. Really, it all depends on how much attention we can get ourselves. If we don't think we're getting any more than 80 people, the White Hart is definitely the place. Else, the Phoenix's great too.
For the first time i think that we should stick to the white hartt, but that's just my opinoin as for the first time holding a meetup it may be more easier to be at the white hart. if dodo1234 can get all the stuff and what not (not pressuring you or nothing ) to pimp it up and has not too many people it may go more smoothley. As for the phoenix i have't heart of it but i must say Royal wooten basset is nice maybey, hold a meetup in there for the summer. And how did you find all this stuff about the phonex and the white hart by the way?.
