I don't want to point fingers, but yes, I have been accused of doing wrong from such things from a few people here.
Eh, I think there were one or two people in The Thread of Gays. I think it was something along the lines of "I know it's wrong, but I can tolerate that other people do it."
Does it really matter if we're gay or not? Either way, non-Christians are, supposedly, going to hell, regardless of your sexual orientation. Next thing you know, people will say that Gay Christians (And some do exist.) will be denied heaven even though Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins. Every single one of you guys has done something to piss God off eventually. Being homosexual is just one of many things that God, supposedly, said not to do. It isn't wrong. It's a book telling you it's wrong.
Zoe, I was just commenting on the fact that you said "gay people and lesbians", but whatever. Twinkle, I think you're preaching to the choir.
To be fair to Zoe, there IS a group called GALA, or the Gay And Lesbian Alliance. I have heard from several lesbian friends that 'gay' is used mainly for male homosexuals, with females prefering to describe themselves exclusively as 'lesbians.'
I find it odd that there is no word to specifically describe homosexual males when you leave out the slurs. Because some lesbians still describe themselves as 'gay'.
