Ok so I've got a major busy music week coming up with albums, tracks, studio & so forth. An of course I'm in no mood to do any of it so what motives you to get work & generally to go an do something other that lounging at the PC / Mac
Motivation? BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! Seriously, I have a hard time getting motivated over anything, but I just focus on all the relaxing I'll get to do once I finish whatever I have to do....I have a weird way of thinking.
Money. When I make money, I feel valued and I know my work is valued, because I am getting paid. That's why I hate school. It's a bunch of drones droning to drones who feel no value being there because they're not recognized for what they do and they're probably there because society told them they were supposed to be there. I learn on my own time. Otherwise, work is fun for me and I look forward to it.
most of times what motivates me is drawing ponies, when my workplace is calm i draw ponies so if i finish my task fast, i can draw ponies fast. And sometimes is just safety since in some ocasions i gotta get into some deep holes or tall building edges, i have security belts and the tunnels are safe, but i just dont trust that stuff XD

So true. I can't get motivated easily, though... But yes, learning on your own time is always more fun. I don't have much motivation now... I just haven't drawn/done homework recently. My creativity is almost dead. I wouldn't blame it on school, admittedly... but school has been... rather tedious. Math in particular. The rest, I feel okay with. Like I've said in other posts, I had to skip the first day of highschool. So not a good idea... Math got homework immediatedly, and now I'm somewhat behind. But that's not entirely the above's fault... I never had a habit for doing homework anyways. But hopefully I can get out of that mess. I'm not the best person to ask about motivation though.

well, with me it's rather simple. 3 things: 1: I don't like to be obligated, so I do what I have to do as soon as possible before deadlines. 2: Satisfaction of knowing that you've done job well done, got new experience, knowledge. 3: hard work always pays up. aether if it was money, career, just earning respect from others, or something else. people appreciate hard workers, and they can always make whatever they want with their lives. so yeah, those 3 things keep me going.
I have no reason. I have no drive. I rely on my intelligence to get things done; having a drive is bad, in my honest opinion, because once that drive is gone, you have to rely on something else. And sometimes... you can take things too far when the drive is gone. Should I ever have a drive, it will be my wife. I'm going to do everything that I can for her should the worst come to pass.
Loud music and a can of NoS (Monster rarely does me anything). Ironically, I don't process energy drinks like most people. Anyway, mental motivation is difficult to conjure up, but I find fully waking up and abandoning all other issues to focus is the best way. Get up, shower, eat breakfast, drink a NoS (or two) and go to work. My general order if I'm about to do hard, manual labor.
My motivation is to be the very best. Make your pokemon joke if you must. I like to be the very best at anything I do. Especially at work, I just LOVE to out do everyone else.
