Back when tomatoes were first introduced, many people ate off of lead-painted plates. The acidic tomato juice reacted with the paint, causing many cases of severe lead poisoning. In their ignorance, people blamed the tomatoes. That was your OTHER useless fact for the day.
Tomatoes are also part of the nightshade family Solanaceae, which also contains the highly toxic plant Belladonna. Solanaceae also contains the genus Solanum, all species of which are toxic to equines. ~ the more you know ~
Ah, useless facts. One of the finer joys in life. The Lion from the original MGM movie logo was killed a day after it was filmed when it killed its trainer and two assistants.
I landed a Yami in the GCT. I wish my voice didn't have a slurring, mumbling sound to it. I can get rid of most of it with concious effort, but normally it's like I'm speaking out of the back of my mouth instead of projecting it outward. Consider it a side-effect of being very shy.
If there was one thing I could change about my voice, it'd be my voice. I don't think it suits me at all.
