Tell me about it. Been plagued with this for my whole life. I always have to end up repeating a lot of what I say because I'm too soft spoken.
I think most people can't. except those really egotistical people and the narcissistic. but of course there are those who just simply don't have a problem with their voice.
I've never been certain if it sounds differently because of ear placement behind your mouth + vibrations vs listening to it from a speaker, or if it's something more psychological.
Despite the fact that I stutter when I get excited and or nervous about something I don't really have a problem with my voice.
I don't say R's right. I dunno why. When I say "Star Wars", what I actually say is "Sta Was". Heart usually ends up as "Hot" or something along those lines. When I'm saying R alone, I have to put emphasis on it so people recognise it as "R". Because of this, it usually ends up as "Arr", like a pirate or something. I dunno.
Sometimes it's hard for people to hear me, even though I feel like I'm talking at the same volume, and I'm not talking like they can't hear me because it's loud, just a normal setting.
This all the freaking time. When I'm in a group setting, I rarely have anything to say, but when I do have something to say, no one hears it or someone always talks over me, so I can never get a word in edgewise. If it happens too many times in a row, I get a bit pissed off, one or twice going so far as to say "HEY! I'm talking here!"
General Chat Thread 3: Far over, the Misty Mountains cold... I hate work so much. I just never realize it until I actually have fun on my days off.
