Community Praise Thread

Despite being here so long, I don't believe I've ever made a forum post. What better place to start than here? I shall be including friends, both old, new and even no longer around.

Alzarath: Even if we didn't always seem to communicate very well, you always seemed like a nice guy. I wish I'd gotten to know you better before you vanished off the face of the internet... For me anyway.

Blazing Dawn: Now a mod, but I knew him before that. He's sometimes tough, but always fair. Good friend to have by your side in any given situation.

Captain Cutlass: Cap'n, you've been great. Always friendly, always trustworthy. You're among the only people to not only listen to the political stuff I spouted, but to actually embrace it. Thank's Cap'n. Fair winds!

Dinky Hooves: Dinky has been nice to me in the time that I've known him. Even though we may not always talk that much, I still consider him a good and supportive friend.

Element Of Chaos: Do I really need a reason? Among the friendliest and most hyperactive members of EPR, Ele was one of my first good friends here. Even though I may not see him on EPR anymore, I still get plenty of Skype contact.

Extreme Magnetic Power: When I first met you, I thought you were like Ele in disguise. Instead you turned out to be another friendly face who can make me smile at the drop of a hat.

Foxytail: Foxy, you've been good to me. You've been fair and helpful, making sure that I, and many others were able to settle into EPR well. Even as retired staff, your still providing the place with a great service. Thank you.

Flash: Along with Foxy, you were a great help to me. You were able to dole out the disciplinary action when times required it but you never used it in an unfair manner. I once asked you specifically to ban me because I wanted nothing more to do with EPR anymore. For telling me no, I thank you.

Grey Knightmare: Though I rarely got to meet you, you were kind along with the rest of the staff. Able to make me feel all the more welcome. For that, I thank you.

Harley: Being the unofficial welcome wagon of EPR, I cant thank you enough. Your extreme affection has made me feel so welcome here that I cant help but put you on this list. Thanks Harley!

Jkazu: Another newer, friendly face. You make me feel happy. Do I need to say any more than that?

Lightning Mustang (Soul is a stupid name!): You've been a great friend for me for a LONG time. Pretty much from the beginning. You've never done a thing to annoy or aggravate me, which I must say, is quite a feat.

Lupr: You've been great and you've even shared all my interests. Your a fan of Boys from the Blackstuff for chrissakes! You're a good friend. I wont forget that. Hope you come back to EPR at some point.

Pinkie Pie: That is, the ORIGINAL Pinkie Pie from long ago. The hyperactive personification of the pony in question. I still cant quite wrap my head around how you work and it was only after hearing you in person that I was able to convince myself that I wasn't talking to the actual Pinkie Pie. You gave the nickname Gappy and introduced me to skype, which has since been a constant figure at the bottom of my screen. Thank you Pinkie!

Raindrop: Raindrop, you've been great. A caring and understanding mod, as well as a loyal and trustworthy friend. Now that you've moved onto bigger and better things in LPP, I can do nothing but salute you.

Spiral: Spiral, you've been great. Whereas many in the chat were most notable for being outrageous and hyper, you were calmer and more composed. You were always a delight to talk to and even when we had our disagreements, we never let them come between us. You're a great pal.

Swift: Swift, your a badass. You've been great to me ever since day one when we argued over who was the real Trixie. I'm proud to call you my friend.

Sungazer: Another great pal, and a great hat. You have proven yourself time and time again to be a considerate and loyal friend who isn't above the childish humor that I have grown to know and love from EPR. Glad to still know you through skype, old friend.

Trixie: That is, the Scottish Trixie from long ago. You've also been great. You, Swift and me were the three Trixies for a while. Good pals. I wish you were still around because you were a fantastic friend. I miss you.

Viperbait: Even if we didn't always get along, I knew that you were a great guy. Some may have faulted you with your mod tactics, but ultimately, all I could see was devotion to your job. Your methods may have sometimes appeared harsh, but nobody can argue their effectiveness. You were a good mod and though I hesitate to call you friend, I still find some kind of admiration for you.


And that's about it. I probably forgot some people and for that I apologize, but this is a list of people who I felt needed to be honored here. Thank you.

Wow, this thread hasn't been used in... months, sadly enough.

I guess I'll just toss around some much needed praise.

Harlz- For being able to not only be ridiculously funny and awesome to hang around, but for also being able to flip on her seriousness when things needs to get real. I find that not many people seem to be able to do that these days.

Dargonbutt- For not only having the best butt besides my own, but for providing helpful and insightful suggestions and critiques over the year. I haven't seen many people go out and give him the proper thanks for this publicly yet, so I'll be the first to do so: Thanks man, it was really appreciated.

Testy- For a never ending supply of witty one liners and laughs.

Poetic- It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends. 10 points to Gryffindor!
But for reals, you're awesome to hang out with, you give a helping hand to those in need, really, you're just an all around awesome guy.

Butt seriously, thanks man, you too, and I agree with all the other praise you just gave. Now I'm off to my spell classes, REMEMBER CHILDREN, SWISH AND FLICK.

Tech Tea - (For when he returns, I'll supply why.)

Jhera - You know why, you've kept me entertained since we had started speaking. Over-all you are better than awesome, honestly not a way to describe your brilliance.
Thank you for every minute.

Eight Star - You are one person I salute and admire, keep up being yourself. You know how to handle situations calmly and with precision of what to say and it always is perfect and does not fault. You deserve all the praise given.

Legion - One person I know who is fun to talk to and is really smooth to talk with, along with have it be private subjects.

Chat regulars - I can't specify how great you all are. Before I came here I was ignorant, aggressive. Just overall unpleasant. You guys all changed things for me completely, for better or worse. You all have changed me to be reasonable, and accepting. No matter the case. I thank you all beyond that which I can supply.

The Staff/ Ex-Staff - Although I've not known more most of you for long, the time being among you guys has been utterly brilliant, you guys deserve all the praise given. I also thank you for what you have done for this site. I salute *Salutes*

And, I want to finish off with the one I utterly praise.

Calvin - This guy, this guy. From the start of when I met him here, I haven't enjoyed someone's presence as much as then. He's honestly one of the most brilliant guys around. Although he's not on much at all, he made me feel more welcome to the site than anything could make me feel welcome. He is also one who can have a joke, be calm and one you can really speak to without faults, every thing about him is brilliant. Keep it up being yourself, I salute you. *Salutes*

I am yet to speak to more than many, I am eager to do so as well. I feel I have not given as much praise as I should, you all deserve more than what I've given.
