I was actually curious to know if any homosexual or bisexual bronies are together in a relationship with another brony, or have a partner who accepts their love for my little pony.
I'm a bisexual guy myself and have always wondered this.

Hey, I have a question, and I thought I'd ask it here. So I know the difference between pansexual and bi in terms of dictionary definitions, but I have trouble understanding what the practical difference between the two is. Could someone explain the difference to me? I'm not sure which I would be.

Basically, to my understanding, pansexuals do not even factor gender into the equation. Bisexuals tend to favor one gender over the other, but like both.

It's a little something called "Double Standerds". I'm sure you've heard of it before.

    Re: Pan vs. Bi.
When you're bisexual, you're into men and women. This attraction can be split 50/50 or skewed in either direction.
Pan people are attracted to people regardless of gender identity and gender roles. Genitals isn't a factor.
For example, bisexuals may be attracted to different things in men than in women, and may not be into non-cisgendered people. This is not a certainty; it depends on how people use the words.

I guess I am technically pan, maybe kind of idunno, but I'd much rather use the word bi for myself either way because of how I view gender.

    I'll be blunt here guys.

I've heard pansexual be used in so many ways and I've have so many people correct me both ways, but there are two definitions that linger every time:
-Pretty much what birdie said: they like all sexes and genders.
    Or
    -No preference in sex

So as far as I'm concerned, I've stopped using the word entirely because when I use it either way I get chewed out for it.
I could really care less about what hookup a guy or a gal has or how they see themselves, but I do have a preference and in my mind that's bisexual so I'm bisexual. Even then I wouldn't identify as pansexual either way because of how 'elitist' some people make it out to be; I don't want to act like sexuality is a game of being better than anybody.

I will be much happier when the world gets to a place where labels don't matter. People coming out will not be a big deal, it won't be news. It will just be a normal part of life.

I want society to see someone come out, like that NBA player, and say, "Who cares?" Not because it doesn't matter but instead because it's become just a normal part of everyday life.

We are all too concerned with labels. Pan, bi, gay, straight, whatever... Just be yourself and be happy. That is the world I long for.
