http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...lls-two-year-old-sister-with-first-rifle.html This article says it all. Guns specially designed for kids are lethal. A 5 year old boy accidently shot and killed his 2 year old sister with a "children's" rifle he got for his birthday. I am seriously dissapointed that such a thing is even legal in America...
Of course it's rediculous, but do you really expect this is going to be a discussion? It's just going to be a row of 20 people saying it's bad, like the thread on Westboro.
Why, why, why. Why must this country disappoint me constantly. Why the hell does a 5 year old need a gun anyway. This is why 'merica is just so freaking stupid. We now make guns for kids, you know just in case the terrorist tries to get you. Good job 'merica
I... What? My first rifle? What? I am lost for words. Why was this gun in the hands of a five-year-old?
Because it was a gun designed for children that age. It was both legal and lethal. Go figure. Things such as water guns or nerf guns aren't enough apparently. American kids need real guns.
Isn't that funny. I'm 21 and I fired a real gun once about 6-7 years ago. Wasn't my thing then and definitely isn't now. I also prefer to buy nerf guns. yet a 5 year old needs a "kid friendly" gun. What if the 5 year old wasn't told the gun was lethal and just thought it was like his possibly other toy guns. I could see a kid making that mistake. Considering adults seem to screw that up just as easily.
I don't think a 5-year-old could even really comprehend the meaning of "lethal." Or death, for that matter.
"BAN THE MODERN WARFARES." -Jon Jafari I could go on and on about this. I'll just make it quick. Video games and guns aren't to blame for this and school shootings. It's a mixture of bad parenting and how easy it is for one to obtain a gun.
it's to be expected when people don't read the first post. Wonder what will happen to the parents now.
Debateable. People like to make the connection between gun violence and children with games like Cowwadoody all the time. Could make for relevant discussion.
Never said it did. I was talking about the death itself. I probably should have stated that better. Or whatever. I hate english. So confusing.
I for one heard of 5 year olds being expert call of duty players <.< We're talking about actual kids, not necessarilly idiots. (unless you're talking about the parents)
