Yeeeeeeeeah, it looks kind of vapid to me, but I will not place my judgement before I have actually watched some of it. - - Auto Merge - - MLP is for little girls, though. It doesn't mean we can't enjoy it, but it is what it is.

I fear that the storyline will inevitably become centred around grades, crushes, cliques, etc. Which is not my kind of thing, considering that's what most other girls' tv shows are about. Andddd that sorta material usually comes across as shallow and materialistic. MLP is unique in its innocence, adventure and lack of humans/normal scenarios... and the fact it has ponies. But I'm not gonna judge it before it comes out, and I'll definitely watch it out of curiosity. It could defy the norm and be really good..? ALSO: Why do they all have weird wide boots and thighs showing? Not that either are bad, but why ALL of them?
How does Twilight come across 5 human girls that so happen to be JUST LIKE the rest of the Mane ponies? And why does she have to attend school? All she has to do is stalk the thief, take force over him/her, get the crown and turn him/her in! Of course it's not as easy as it sounds, but I still don't get why she has to go to school... And I wonder if this will have any tie-in to the main series at all (even just mentioning her little adventure)
The more and more I see this, the more and more I wonder if both Rob Liefield and Dan Slott are working on it
The human designs looks awful in my opinion. It looks completely like the stereotypical girly crap Lauren Faust was trying to avoid when she made FiM in the first place. I'm still going to watch it because it's MLP and I want to see if they screw it up, but so far it's not looking good.
The style of art is totally different. And their eyes/faces don't have the same... warmth? I dunno. Kinda like alien eyes. COULD STILL BE GOOD. I remain hopeful.
I'm going to watch because of the ponies that will surely be in the first few minutes of it. I'll probably just end up watching all of it, just because I prob won't have anything else better to watch
I want to give it a chance... But my expectations for it are so very low. I will be pleasantly surprised if it manages to have some quality in it, though.
Friendship is Magic taught me to be openminded and not judge something before I see it and since the show or movie or whatever it's supposed to be will have humanized ponies i'll watch it and more than likely enjoy it alot.
I really don't like the cutie marks on the cheeks. Why not a keychain worn at the hip or something? It's really weird.
