Well great. So now, not only has a highly respected ex staff member been driven off by a member of the staff, we don't even know who this staff member is. Just fantastic.

Right now this whole situation is being investigated. Whatever Foxy was told about being subjected to different rules than others, it was NOT approved by the staff. No one of the currently online staff knows what's going on. Foxy, there's no reason for you to leave just yet. Let us figure this out.

I'm not saying it wasn't a staff member. It most likely was. But i can assure you whoever it was, he wasn't acting on our behalf.
Of course it was a staff member. I can name 5 with the power to do this. 2 seem to have no idea it even happened that leaves 3. Unless it was a past staff member. But I doubt foxy would fall for a thing like that.
I love it when attempts at increasing staff communication are completely waylaid. It's unbelievable to me that even an admin isn't aware of what happened. If someone seriously took Foxy aside and outright told him he was going to be treated by a different standard of rules, I can't even put into words how dumbfounded this makes me. This is a massive negative stain on the staff, in my opinion. As much the fault as this is of the individual, the fact they're on staff means they were acting as a representative of all of us. So I'm not even going to rebuke Foxy making his accusation against all the staff. I know it likely won't alter your decision Foxy, and I know I'd be doing the same in your horseshoes, but I must extend a sincere apology for this event that happened by someone who couldn't be bothered to let the rest of the staff, INCLUDING ADMINS, know! This is a lesson in how NOT to treat your members! I really hope that whoever acted so tactlessly can give a detailed explanation of just what was going through their mind when they drove off a member. I don't know how many times I need to reiterate that all the wonderful members of this site are the lifeblood that keeps Everypony running. Seems like not enough with what seems to have transpired without anyone's knowledge. Without all of you, we'd merely be moderating a ghost town. All that can be done now is to try and keep this bridge from burning completely, and try to prevent burning any more in the future. I feel this has been a definite step backwards from what we're trying to accomplish, and I would really like to see us make an attempt to better ourselves. We want to bring in new members, keep old members, and make this a fun and enjoyable place for all to be. We aren't going to do that by chasing people away. Foxy, I wish you and LPP luck in your future endeavors. This is a truly grim circumstance, and I feel awful that it not only happened at all, but to you. All the best to you.
What the hell...Well, this put a damper on the evening. I am disgusted by this. Who would dare make FOXY feel unwelcome?
