Somehow I don't think this took you 12 hours to make, though it's good for a first attempt nonetheless. Spoiler: Optional constructive criticism I'd suggest tracing a few pictures or drawing with references for a while so that you can get the practice you need to freehand.
First I had to design it that took a good 3 hours then I had to get all of my supplies (paper, pencil, Extra Erasers ect.) and that took me 20 minutes, then I had to make some rough drafts that took me 40 minutes (used 50 out of 100 papers and I had 4 erasers left) Then I had to make the real one (took me a good 7 hours and I had 1 eraser and 20 pieces of paper left) Then I Needed to shade and straighten out some rough edges (mostly just the Visor and outline, plus that took one hour) so that took me 12 hours
Well depending on the size of the drawing and the time taken to do them it could be doable. I spent 18 days on one picture before. Broken down into hours it was probably something like 20. Even the thing I'm in the middle of has taken 6 hours. Different people move at different paces.
Right now I'm working on Rerabox's OC from the Fallout Equestria Roleplay. I will be taking suggestions - - Auto Merge - - ok I have the Rough draft ready take a look. And Remember its only a rough draft so I'm not done View attachment 7029
