Speaking of French stuff, I've seen the gif in your signature before somewhere. I think from a Caravan Palace video, but I doubt that's where they originate.
It's a movie, you plebians *snob face* It's not exclusively French. If I recall correctly, it's a pretty international piece. EDIT:Yep, there were Companies from France, UK, Belgium and Canada involved, apparently.
Sorry, I realised too late. I've switched the video now so it's the trailer instead, which contains none. I didn't really think about it, sorry. If you'll just remove it from the quote too, that'd be great.
Thank ya kindly. Although, I rather liked that. It's like early warner brothers or one of those really early satirical cartoons. Although, I could have sworn that was part of a larger film about the Tour De France where these three characters live in a flat together decades after their fame has faded. Edit: Just watched some of the trailer. It is! With the odd little woman in the large glasses and the sinister men in the suits that bond together like amoeba. I really want to see that all the way through.
It was. The retro-cartoon is only the first few minutes. The video I replaced it with is a trailer for that film. It's one of the things I keep gushing over mainly because of the GORGEOUS ANIMATION.
It is lovely stuff. Vibrant colours, inventive and creative character designs. It's all really, really nicely done. From what I remember.
I just found an archive of every Miyazaki film ever made. I just watched Kiki's Delivery Service for the first time in 15 years. I'm tearing up a bit right now.
Weird animations? Here. Have a Gorillaz.
Why are there not more artists like them in the charts? When they make something, you're guaranteed something catchy and something you're not likely to see anywhere else. Something I miss when being forced to take notice of the current state of music. Anyway, night all.
You just reminded me; I got From Up on Poppy Hill but haven't watched it yet. I now have something to do.
Re: General Chat Thread 3: Jesus Was The First Hipster Wait, that's out already? Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk 2
Yep. I hate popular music. Nikki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Justin Beiber are the three worst, in my opinion. Oh. And G'Night.
Re: General Chat Thread 3: Jesus Was The First Hipster Ahh. You "imported" it straight from "Japan." Quite savvy of you. Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk 2
