The Two Kingdoms: OCC chat.

Here is the OCC chat. I wont much here as it is fairly self explanatory.

 

It's about 170 years into the future. Nothing significant has happened in terms of technology, it's around the same as before with some exceptions such as very primitive guns which take a long time to reload and crossbows. I was thinking for a real world comparison, it would be set in the sixteenth century during the Renaissance.

Correct. Technology in this RP would be based around the period from around 1460-1520 in our universe. In our universe, we have enjoyed the luxury of a rapid technological increase during the last 100 years. In Equestria, it is much slower. So a technological period for what would be 100 years to them is about 50 for us. However, that gap is closing.

Im also of thinking of entering this RP as an older version of Venquis. (Robin should know what im talking about.)

 

Your right, something epic is going to happen. Oh, and the RP will last until it stops receving posts and dies, so it could finish or stop when it becomes really interesting, like a dream.

Im practicing something with Venquis. Since Venquis was brought up in Royalty *Cough*Spoilers from my novel *Cough*, he was raised in a very proud family who taught him about their superiority, after all, they were the royal family. Venquis will make some statements about Ryborian pride (Like the one i posted about how he was taught magic and how a "Ryborian child is stronger than a battlemage" (which is a small reference from my novel), kinda going for a whole Vegeta persona and feel, to improve my writing and RP skills. So it's really fun to play as him, it's something new for me.

 

Seeing as how we are close to the mainland, something big is going to happen. I don't know exactly what, but i guess it's going to be good.

 

Im considering having Venquis's own personal squad similar to the night guards joining him when they reach Equestria. But they might be used for the war effort instead of being in the group.

And you will start seeing Celestia soon as i will post as her when they reach the mainland. It's about high time that i will turn the dial to eleven for this. I have an awesome idea for a corrupted Celestia, The Equestrian Empire itself and how it is presented, and the ideas of "Army building" for the war effort are flying through my head at a bazillion miles an hour.

After typing in "Evil Celestia" in google images, i have come up with these. They are very close to what i had in mind originally, so i hope you like them. I have been associating the corrupted Celestia with forbidden magic. I guess that the Alicorn Amulet was taken somewhere after the events of Fim and lost in time after Zecora's death. It could be the same magic NM uses, but my head canon is that its different.
