Not quite an original idea... There's a reason that was speculated. Spoiler This first one is from the original sneak peek that was in the commercial. It's not in this shot, but this window can be seen over on the right. Here's a comparison with a screen cap from episode 1. Here's one of the teaser images. You can clearly see discord on four windows, two sets which are the same. Discord is white in one set because he was turned to stone.

Even for the clip, To me, it's like a cliffhanger. I just want to know what gonna happen in the episode. God, these next 4 days are just gonna kill me. Seriously.
I don't know...his dismissal of them is either going to be his downfall, OR he already did (or is going to do) something to them.
Maybe he took away PPs ability to have parties, and Applejack's ability to either A.) Be honest or B.) To buck trees The latter, at least to me, seems to make the most sense.
Well, Earth ponies don't seem to tire out easily. Pinkie can go a long time bouncing around and AJ can buck trees for a long time before wiping out, so maybe Discord took away their....endurance? Vitality? I dunno....

Oh, you~ I noticed something intriguing do to tvtropes (specifically, this page: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E1TheReturnOfHarmony). When Discord takes away Rainbow's wings (as well as Fluttershy's, and the unicorns' horns, of course), he specifically nudges Applejack while saying "no cheating"...nod to Fall Weather Friends, or coincidence?
