That's how I feel, but yet I feel it has the potential to be good having seen the trailer. Still, how many people were doubtful that they would enjoy FiM before becoming bronies! I know I was one anyways, so Equestria Girls certainly deserves a fair chance.
I'll probably just watch it on the internet and see if i can sit through the entire thing without gagging or dying a little bit inside.
To me, comparing Equestria Girls to season 3 is like comparing season 3 to season 1. God, help me... :Boo:
Wow, finally a sensible reply from someone who isn't entirely jaded. Refreshing. This is what I'm going to do. Wait and see. Yes, it may be a vapid, shallow trainwreck. But considering it's written by the same people who wrote the original, don't you think there may be a chance that it isn't? Just sayin' most of us thought MLP:FiM wouldn't be something worth watching, before we watched it and somehow ended up in a fandom for a little girls' show. Just Sayin' So, I dunno, maybe lets not burn it with fire before it even comes out? Just a thought. Besides, even if it is terrible, it's got absolutely nothing to do with the actual show. So what's the harm in it? For a bunch of people who were all about love and tolerance a year ago, I'm seeing a lot of opinions that are extremely judgmental and jump to conclusions. .... IM3= Iron Man 3. I'm surprised you don't know him, he's the President of Marvel Studios and has produced a lot of Superhero movies in the last few years.

Let's try to get some laughs out of this. I just found this comic involving EqD that just had me rolling. Spoiler: Not what I had in mind for a crossover, but still hilarious. I'm excited for the movie. Let's try and roll back the premature disdain and look at some positives.
I'm going to go ahead and laugh/agree with this. People are getting too upset. Or rather, people have been too upset and should really have cooled down by now, even though the extreme reactions weren't exactly warranted -in my opinion- to begin with.
I just watched the trailer like ten times. 1) I can't believe Hasbro is actually giving us a big screen movie (something I was really hoping for but never thought they would do) and 2) I can't believe that it's actually gonna be showing in a theater close enough for me to go see it! WOOHOO! Hasbro lost me when they shut down Fighting Is Magic, but with this, they just got me back. Well played, Hasbro, well played. 33 days and counting... EDIT: Does anyone know the name of the song used in the trailer? If it exists elsewhere I'd love to be able to find it.
