*cough* Lily and Asuka. :derpe: Anyways I rather get the new Tekken Tag game, but I already pre-ordered ToG:f which comes out Feb. 2012.
Boo Ninja Raven. All about Bryan Fury! ...and Sophie from ToG:f P.S: Do you even have me added on PSN? PSN: NyanNyanNakano
Nope. Once I repair my PS3 I'll send you an invite... Something is wrong with the Disc Reader... I won't get it back for another ~3-4 weeks. And Raven from ToV. Not Tekken manz. Raven Tekken is awesome though.
Oh haha. Couldn't tell which one you were talking about. I haven't playen ToV at all to tell you the truth. Only the (JP) ToV PS3 Demo. Anyways, this happened with my Wii too. I haven't even bothered sending it to Nintendo. Can't wait for ToG and maybe ToX.
I only liked Call of Duty 3 and below. Until all the kids started to join the bandwagon for it. Anyways, I was a fan of all those old FPS + Quake 3 + UT2004 + CS.
I never really enjoyed it. Battlefield 3 seems much more my style. As for game of the year, it's a three-way between Batman, Skyrim (my first Elder Scrolls game), and Uncharted 3.... Uncharted 3 FTW!!!
Not a big fan of FPS. Some are okay, I like to play for fun not be killed 300 times by the try hard quick scoper. RPGs on the other hand I love, my favorite games to play. Never got into Uncharted, I tried I just didn't like it. Arkham city is going to be so BAD FLANK, I can't wait I want it now.
I don't get the dislike for CoD here.... but I guess I count as one of the kids, so it's probably just me. But still, RPGs? Fun fun fun! ...got Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 now /)^3^(\ ...if I take a while to respond, sorry. I'm going to eat dinner now.
CoD MW and onwards has the problem of having horrible mechanics compared to the classics, little to no immersion, and a complete lack of plot. It's only rescuing factor is shiny muzzle flares. Guess what I care about in a game? Good plot, immersive, and interesting mechanics.
I agree with basically everything here. I still remember playing CoD 2: The Big Red One on the PS2. That was a brilliant game, one of the best I've ever played. The campaign was one of the most emotionally attaching journies in video game history. Now, the CoDs are just for insulting people's mothers online. In my honest opinion, video games are dying. Truly stunning and unique games are becoming rarer and rarer, it's all 'look at the shiny features' now, or simply producing stuff that will sell.
*Cough* Modern Warfare 3 *Cough* MW3 is the ultimate insult. All you get are 3 year olds on XBL and PSN. Quality games, such as Tales of Vesperia, or Fire Emblem, are still holding their own; I'm worried about Final Fantasy though. Classic example of the Metallica Syndrome; Great for about 15 years, then it turns to crap.
I'm actually turning towards indie developers if I really want my mind blown. Anyone played Bastion? THAT is one brilliant game. For those with PSN, I strongly recommend checking out thatgamecompany's titles. flOw is a great little game, but I implore you PS3 guys to check out Flower. If games are an art form, then Flower should be right at the top as an example. YouTube videos won't do it justice. They're coming out with another game called Journey, which sounds absolutely amazing! Look it up!
