The Nobody sign.... Well, for the non-Kingdom Hearts fans out there, a Nobody is a being that is created after someones heart of pure darkness is made into a different creature named the Heartless. How do I think I am a Nobody? -Nobodies are able to plan out what they do first an assess the situation before they react to it -More intelligent -Possess emotions but feel uncertain about them and question them Eeyup, so thats why i think my cutie mark relates to me... Johnn the Nobody (or respectively, a Nopony xD)
My cutie mark. The heart is done in a pixel style- Fence the name pixel The outside color is purple- The color of compassion, I shown a lot of compassion since I found ponies. The color on the inside are Blue and Pink. Blue for the HOPE and pink for LOVE. It's a heart because I try to open my heart to all, even if some won't show it back.
Very interesting thread here - I admit, I'm learning quite a lot about everypony around here and their reasoning behind the mark. I suppose I should share something about mine, as it's rather vague on what it represents. In case you're wondering, it's a light blue wrench that's morphing into a lightning bolt, striking through a mechanical gear. When looked at, it is very similar to the power symbol that's present on many electronic devices. I designed in after that such symbol and the name came naturally as a result. The reason behind why I had chosen to make this my cutie mark is possibly as a result of my passion for technology, energy, and my aspiration to work with both in some field of science or engineering. I've always been good at communicating with computers and electronics, as well as fascinated by the way we use and produce energy - electrical energy to be precise. The lightning bolt represents energy, the wrench represents my affinity with electronics and computers, the gear represents technology itself, and altogether it represents my goal. The + in my handle also stands for 'power', but it's not actually part of the name. Right now, I am trying to get back into a college to pursue a course in computer sciences, with the idea of going back to school at some later point in life to get into another related field of study with some firsthand experience and when I can better afford to on my own. Despite it having a lightning bolt, I myself am not a very energetic, spontaneous, or loud person - I am however bold, concentrated, and focused. I can take care of business and try to get it done as quickly and efficiently as possible - similarly to lightning, I hardly have much luck (lightning striking twice doesn't happen for me). Other cutie marks that were considered were magnetic poles, the eye of providence, a USB symbol, a block of binary numbers representing the letter 'i', a microchip, a light bulb, and an electrical spark. They all felt a bit plain and did not feel like they represented me or the character very much, so I had to design my own. As for Standby and why he has it - he is a bit of a living battery, with a natural current of energy in his body. As for how he got it, that one is going to be a bit difficult to figure out given its elaborate nature. I myself also feel 'hot' in this aspect, as I've been able to simply 'fix' several devices by merely touching them, even if I had done nothing else to it. In my youth, I spent a lot of time around open wires and could feel the energy flowing through them on my skin - and for some time afterward. I doubt it had much to do with anything, but it just felt noteworthy enough to mention. Being based on me, he is also skilled in technology, although his overall development may require a complete overhaul of the mark at some point given his other abilities.
My Cutie mark is pretty much SpitFyres. i used it cause it represented speed, which is my ponies main theme, flame ontop is to represent the trail of fire. like rainbow dash she creates a sonic rainboom, me i create a balestorm, it is just under sonic a sonic rainboom.
Why did no one inform me of this thread... Overall I felt like becoming Rainbow Dash. I wanted to be like Rainbow Dash. I am not Scootaloo... Rainbow Dash is awesome. I am awesome. So therefore I am Rainbow Dash. *Or would like to be Rainbow Dash...* (Expect me to go back to my regular ol' Rainbow Dash theme and get bored of this Spinning Vinyl Scratch theme.)
Are you sure? Spoiler: Sounds like you're in denial to me..... :Trollestia::Trollestia::Trollestia::Trollestia::Trollestia::Trollestia::Trollestia::Trollestia:
But it's so entertaining D: The colors, they go round and round Well, the blues, and a bit of white, (and some red) but... yeah.
My cutie mark is my namesake as you can see: a pulse wave with a pulse width of 33%. It symbolises my knack for electronic music and making it which I share with the pony in my avatar picture. Gathering sounds and making them myself, programming or recording and arranging sequences, playing along to them and taming an ever-growing amount of instruments. Fun fact: The lead sound used in that one instrumental piece of music we often see ponies dance to, especially Pinkie, is based on a single pulse wave.
I myself actually dont have a cutiemark, the mark displayed as mine actually belongs to my Unicorn character Illusion. I really need to think about myself more so I can find my cutiemark <3 Her cutiemark is a blue peace symbol becasue of her personality. She likes peace but as she has cruelty as a personality point she will make others be peaceful by any means nessecary even if it means leaving them saddend wrecks.
Two intermeshed cogs. Literal Meaning: An adeptness for making and understanding mechanical objects/systems. Symbolic Meaning: Being able to understand and break down complex (social) systems and situations easily. Hence, rapid learning abilities. An ability to predict the outcome of a situation. So, basically, the gears represent how Gears sees the world and situations in it: all things have components, attributes and/or acting factors. Taking all these into account will allow one to understand the function of any appliance or spell, or predict the outcome of any given interaction.
I forgot about this thread...and No way Tenor. Unless someone makes a Rainbow Dash version of this. :derpe:
By the way, MLP has forced me to rethink my stance on getting a tattoo. When I'm older, I may just get myself a cutie mark. 'Need to seriously think it through though. Anyone else considering/considered it?
Literal I love to listen to music I love to sing along I often get depressed with extended periods of time without music (true story xD) Music is a huge passion of mine Practical In my education, that note serves a very important role. It's the quaver note in UK & European music, or the eighth note in American music. It is important to me as I'm learning the keyboard, but it's also vital for me to know this because I'm doing a Music Technology course at college, and I have to prove I can read and write the different elements of music, including the various notes and also the treble and bass clefs. I'm also learning to play the keyboard, which is another passion of mine, so it will serve me well to be able to learn to read and write music. That particular note is also useful because it's commonly used in modern music, which is my specialist choice of music, most importantly music that is less than 70 years old. So yeah, my cutie mark represents my education, my hobby (learning to play the keyboard) and my love of music. Symbolic Education, again. I messed up my last two years at college doing I.T. thinking that was the area of work which I wanted to be a part of. But when I came to realize I.T./ICT was nothing but using Microsoft Office for 10 years of my life, I started to get a little bit bored of it to be frankly honest. So I went more into the technical aspects and started to learn the basics to become a computer technician, I then realized that that definitely wasn't me. This was the time where I was ALWAYS walking around with my iPod on, I was ALWAYS listening to music of some description, so then I figured why not combine my musical passion and my love of music, and my nerdy technology passion and bring them together. Voila. A couple of months down the line, I started Music Technology. I spend 3 hours a week learning recording techniques and learning about the recording studio, I spend six hours a week using computers, but composing music with them, so actually doing something I'm passionate about, whilst still using technology. Every single one of my friends and family have noticed I feel much happier now than I used to, I actually ENJOY going to college now and I have aspirations and dreams for the future to get into Music Production. I know it seems a little bit ambitious, but I'm happy. I'm already living my dream, I'm combining my hobby with my education too, so I'm actually interested in my education now. So, on a symoblic level, it represents my realization, it represents the spark of my dream, a goal in life which I had found, a sense of purpose and the rough idea of knowing what I want out of life. I hope that actually makes sense, I know what I'm trying to say but I'm having a hard time putting it down in words. xD
Yesssssss. My cutie mark is a leaf. It is the mark of The Free Spirit Leaf, and the ability to not ever be held back by anything. I am The Free Spirit Leaf. /dramatics The Story: It was my first ever Super Smash Brothers Tournament. About 3 years ago. It was a small tournament at a library, far away from the highly competitive scene I know today. We didn't know it, but we were all bad. We were hanging out at the library for a short time before the tournament began, and I saw that NOBODY entered using their actual name, even my friends had something else to go by. So, I went outside for a moment and sat down on a bench under a tree to think about it. A gust of wind came by, and suddenly a small leaf fell into my lap. I stared for a moment, noticed it would fit the 5 character maximum on using a tag in Brawl, and decided to go with that. Through SOME form of luck, I made my way to the Grand Finals in that tournament. I fought someone, a Sonic main, with 10 stocks on Final Destination with no items. (This is really ridiculous to me now, but I won't get all "competitive ruleset" on this site unless someone's interested.) Back at this time, I used Kirby. And I was losing. We traveled to this town about 30 minutes away, I was in grand finals, and I was losing. But I wasn't alone, I still had my friends there. Regardless of how big the sonic's crowd was, how loud they cheered when he landed a hit, I still wasn't alone. One of my friends there, after I had lost another life, looked at me and said "Stop playing with your food." I proceeded to finish 4 stocks up on the guy, making it look easy. I got published in the town's newspaper and got some weird paper art as a prize. -100%truestory- Literal: The leaf REALLY did fall on me outside the library, and set of the chain reaction that caused me to play Smash so much in my life. I like travel, and going random places, like a leaf on the wind. Practical: The leaf represents defense, while sprouting up with the full force to overtake anything when it's necessary. That's how brawl is played, you play defensively until the enemy gives you an opening. Then you punish that opening as hard as possible before getting back out to the defensive play. The travel. Leaves can fly for a really long ways. And I do that. I travel all over the state of Texas, and sometimes out of it, anywhere from 1-3 times a month. I take carpools of people I met here, and they always enjoy the trip. And I've made some of my best friends through doing this. And if I'm out of the state at a national where I don't see people very often, when it comes to say good bye, I don't. I just say "see you later" because I know that the winds will cross our paths again. Symbolic: You don't expect much from something like a simple leaf flying by. And that's all I am, as a currently unrecognized player. But I can change that. I've come so far in the past 3 years, and I now have the resources to become a top player. It's my time to be noticed, like I noticed the leaf falling on me so long ago.
As an ode to the Assassin Cross job from Ragnarok Online (abbreviated SinX), I wanted to make something symbolic off of its abbreviation. I'd considered things like overlapping a cross and the Japanese character for 'Sin'. My more recent efforts were combining a lunar eclipse and White Glint's emblem from the AC4/AC:FA games. (Tribal-like white eye.) It would represent observation when I complete it. I've been unsuccessful in mixing the pictures and maintaining the effects. Part of the reason is the coloring of the image I have for the eye.
