Found a random video on this I find comical:
I second this. Also, the video raises a good point. The Mane 6 are clearly college age, at least. Why is EqG about high school?
I suppose it's because little girls dream about being teenagers, in high school; they fantasize about meeting a boy, about making awesome friends, going on dates, going to prom, being at odds with the popular girls, or heck, being one of the popular girls. The setting of a humanized mane six in college, while infinitely superior to the setting of them in high school, isn't what little girls are probably going to relate to. Now I feel depressed that this concept wasn't utilized more imaginatively. The tired high school cliches make me feel sick to my stomach these days, I don't look forward to seeing them on the big screen.
Chrysalis as the Home Economics teacher, Trixie as that one emo girl who smokes in the restroom, and Sombra as the football coach.
It's finally happened. The first of what I hope to be many Lyra reactions to Twlight's adventure becoming human.
I just found out that Equestria Girls will in fact be playing at my local theater. I figured it'd be nice to see it June 22nd before my choir trip to Chicago. As they say, "don't judge a book by its cover." This movie may be good or it won't. Just see it first before you make any opinions about it. You never know, this may turn out to be better than expected.
Better idea We send in a reconnaissance team, who ever comes out of the theater alive tells us if it is worth seeing. But it has to be someone expendable, someone so utterly useless no one cares whether or not they die. EUREKA! We send in a reconnaissance of dub step artist.
