Eh.. I'm just going to keep an open mind to the best of my ability on this one.. I mean, it's definitely good to see that the story department isn't afraid to try something so risky. Plus, it's not /technically/ the real world right? I mean, if there are blue girls walking around with wings, it goes without saying that it's just another alternate world for them to explore. On the other hand (hoof?), I believe there are many other fanboys who will be cringing right along with me if Hasbro introduces the story-element I fear they'll definitely use; in an attempt to hook a more teen-oriented audience, Twilight is going to find herself in a public school, and there's a definite risk of seeing her go all giggly over a crush. Yep.... The dating scene, an element that hasn't been explored much in the show yet. Good thing too, right? "Get your hooves off mai waifu!!" Is it silly to think that way? Yep, but irrationality is a consequence of being a fanboy, so I have to make due as best as I can l3 (The idea of a Fluttershy-hug fills my heart with warmth and happiness ^w^) My prediction: I'll probably either hate it completely, or love it completely. I seriously doubt there can be middle-ground here, and I can see I'm not the only one who feels that way. I'll hope for the best and prepare for the worst, just in case :/
MLP FiM in general taught me to be open minded and not judge something before watching it first and since it's FiM related i'm going to watch it.
How bout we send a recon team of these foolish "open minded people", then the ones who come out of the theater alive will confirm it terrible
I plan on seeing it, and, be honest, so does everypony else here. You may not WANT to, but curiousity always wins in the end.
That's what the recon team is for! The ones who survive the nerd rage and/or fangasm mob that follows the movie, will post a review addressing what is and isn't good! But since most likely more than half the recon team will die in the fan mob( be it positive or negative) They have to be expendable, someone you WANT to see die, like PETA
To be truthful, given the target age demo of the original series, I doubt any teenage crush stuff (if there is any at all) will carry over into the main series. I wouldn't be surprised at a little flirting, but I dunno... I don't think I am really seeing anything more than that in EQG. I see "Brad" getting friend-zoned hard. (Warning: this post is massive unsubstantiated speculation, like everything else here)
The oppurtunity for fan art and comics alone is enough to make EqG worth it. Spoiler: because Tell me you didn't giggle.
It was only a matter of time before Cracked would write something about Equestria Girls. http://www.cracked.com/quick-fixes/...age&utm_campaign=new+article&wa_ibsrc=fanpage
They even touched the topic of the guy who married Twilight My sides are no longer with us They are of another world now
I like the fact that all the voice actresses from MLP FiM also voice the human versions of their characters in this movie.
NO. NO. No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......... This is so stupid!!!!!! My little pony is about ponies!! Not humans! HASBRO HAS TAKEN IT TOO FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There we go with overenthusiastic fans over reacting again just like with the whole Twilicorn thing Yeah sad yet true
Yeah I know what you mean i'm willing to give it a chance too but just like with the Twilicorn situation people are overreacting to it.
