Hi, my name is Echoax. As some of you might be aware I used to draw things. Things that I never thought of as being very good. Some people disagree with me and that's okay. They can think what they want. I've decided that I should embarrass myself by making this thread, where I will post what some people refer to as art. Spoiler: Pinkie pie junk This is some pinkie pie thing I made around christmas I believe. It was based of a design from a glade display. Hence all the stupid spirals Spoiler: Some AU Twilight This probably requires that I explain a few things. First I have no idea what that pose is. I have no idea what she is doing, it was the first thing my hand made that didn't make me vomit. As for the gas mask stupid face thing, AU so I don't have to explain it. Spoiler: Rarity thing Remember how I hate crossovers with dumb horses? Well lanterns may be the only thing I let slide. So I attempted Rarity with a Orange lantern, not that you could tell without color. After that stupid gas mask with Twi I figured a lantern couldn't be hard. It was, it was a massive pain, that and Rarity's mane. That crap took way to long for the little result I got. I think the body is okay, but the face and mane are horrid. I think the eyes might be to small or maybe it's her nose. I dunno. The lantern looks like doo doo. God I hate her mane. So, I assume if you came in here and liked it you may be curious if I will continue making more. That is a yes, I will continue to flood this thread with things I do. It won't always be ponies, assuming I learn to actually draw something(pokemon, humans, furry junk and whatever else). Who knows maybe this will be motivation enough to make me do stuff instead of watching youtube videos all day. I will also try to accept positive comments even if it kills me inside. I thought you already had an art thread, now I'm wondering if my mind is playing tricks on me again... 95% of art is usually spent hating what you arted ha. So, since you don't like positive comments - there's definitely room for improvement but I have seen far, far worse. Like my stuff, for instance. Wait til mods are asleep, then post panties.
I don't believe I can draw, at least not to the degree I wish. My grasp of anatomy is rubbish on ponies and for humans it's just atrocious. See this is where it gets weird. I won't call other people's work crap. That seems wrong to me. Yet I have no issue doing it to my own work. Thank you Yes, in your eyes they are. To me, they are just blah, poor, mediocre and lame. I have a hard time seeing it beyond that. But thank you. I did have an art thread and a request thread. I had them locked when I left 3 months ago. I don't want them back, so tada new thread to start fresh. There is a major need of improvement in a lot of places. It makes you happy and leaves me with many other feelings.
Rather me then someone else. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I was supposed to practice pony things, but then I made a shape, boxes, road signs, an alphabet and many other things. I kinda just doodled for a bit, something I never allowed my self to do. It was fun, not having to care about how things looked. Expect that krabby, it was doo doo. Spoiler: doodles, no idea how well you'll be able to see them I'm also attempting to paint/color that Twilight gas mask thing. I wanted to post what I had completed before I went to sleep, but I don't have anything to show yet. I'm aiming for it to be done by tomorrow. I'll have to take luck doing it. I'm trying the no lines and more complicated shading then what I used to do.

I am going to give constructive criticism, partly to help you, but mostly because I like to the sound of my own voice:derpe: (I read what I type in my own head-voice, **** is so cash.) First things first, I REALLY like her mane! It fits into the style very nicely and kind of shows a bit of Pinkie's personality. Her face is great, but it seems a bit on the broad side. As for negative criticism, the forelegs look a tad rushed, which is a shame since the body shape is perfect. Ponies standing on two legs are a pain in the ass to draw, but all things considered, you did pretty well with the form. If anything, the neck and hair look a bit blocky. Anything with a gasmask gives me flashbacks to that one episode in Dr. Who, so needless to say, that aspect of the drawing gives me the jibblies. This one seems to be the most awkward of the three. The hind legs are very well done, but the shoulders and chest look too narrow for her hips, and maybe a bit too human looking as well. Her face needs a bit of work, especially in the muzzle area, but the mane is fantastic. [size=-20]You need to draw a Sombra in panties. Think of the lolz, Echo, think of the lolz.[/size]
Because she wouldn't be greedy enough for that ring to seek her out. If anything she might get compassion. Though even that pushes it. Diamond Dogs or maybe nightmare moon could attract greed. I am well aware of that video. Doodling wasn't meant to be productive, at least not in the way of actually doing something. It is the very same bunny. Glad someone recognized it. Positive, negative, whateva. I can't really comment back much, I don't really like it. So yeah, thanks and moving one. well it's Twilight, isn't her hair always a block? The original picture was meant to be just colored over with no lines, but I lined it because I was bored, but no excuses. The gas mask was only added because the brain thought it was a good idea, the brain later regretted it's decision. I have many issues with this thing my self. The lower back leg didn't really sit right to me, but if you say it's fine, I'll accept it. I can see the issue now with the arms and chest. Now for her face, I want to smash it in with a brick, I re-did it twice before I said screw it. It was a just a mess, her mane was just unbearable to get right. I can not comprehend those damn curls and the way it moves. I'd rather her head was just gone off of her body. [size=-4] Would be fun, if I could think of a pose[/size] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [spoiler="Colored" Twilight] So I tried to color that Twilight I posted earlier and it was just a mess. A horrible, horrible mess. I thought I had a plan to execute this in a simple way, but plans are useless when you lack the knowledge or ability to complete it. Like the core of the picture, I thought I was clever in doing it, but I learned to late that I had actually messed up several parts of it. Then came the adding of shadows and the like. That caused a lot wavyness, because I thought I could go back later and erase the bits I didn't need. I was wrong, it just made it harder. I also had a clever plan for the mane, but because of the original oversight I was unable to try it. So I went with what I used to do and it's just bad. Lets see what else was a pain, the whole face. A 3-d pony face is something that was hard to get do. I also gave up on the gas mask parts, like the front part, and the canister. It became to much of a hassle. Now that I'm done beating the picture up, feel free to enjoy it or don't. It's totally your choice. Below are 2 different versions. A smaller one in this tag and a bigger* one in the second one. These are pretty good... All of them are probably better than my abilities :/ I like the decorative pinkie pie the twilight seems like a kind of awkward pose but still awesome and the lantern rarity... Oh my gosh... Aside from the mane looking a bit too small for the head (I fully understand that issue... It's relatively easy to draw but hard to proportion) these are great and I think you should be proud
New picture near the bottom If I don't so it no one else will. I'm mediocre at drawing. regardless of what people say I will compare myself to smittyG. We started drawing around the same time, but where he practiced and got better. I would cry and rage quit. I could be a lot better then I am, it's my fault for being behind. That Twi pose is awkward, I haven't the slightest idea what she could even be doing in that pose. That Rarity can just explode, her mane was by far the worst part of the picture to draw and the worst thing probably about it or her whole face. It looks weird. I'm confused though, first you said "pretty good" then later say "great". There is a massive difference between those too statements. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Anyway, art time. I will at least say this, I did this a timely manner so that was cool, but that timely manner messed all sorts of things up. Like I forgot to flip in and check it. So this picture is probably going to look horrid to you guys. I know her right foot is messed up and her face and her hips and probably most of the things on her. Also that thing on her next is a collar, but I messed it up so it's just like a flat band thing now.
