    one of my friends on facebook was confused about tumblr so this is what I responded with:
    Ill try to explain it and remove some confusion; there are two sides of tumblr—fandoms and hipster blogs. And you post things.On the fandom side of things we share feels (A wave of emotions that sometimes cannot be adequately explained), art, fanfics and gifs. LOTS and LOTS of gifs. so basically it's sort of like a big ball of wibbley-wobbley timey-wimey stuff, Loki, Voldemort's nose, Robert Downey Jr's ass, SuperWhoLock (a combination of the fandoms of the shows supernatural, doctor who and sherlock). while on the hipster side they talk about feminist stuff or post pictures of their food or handmade goods.
