they do fit... in a post apocalyptic land you think noone would go mad as a safety mechanism? and besides, the key thing won't happen often. Shiny means drowned in light and made of a reflective metal. it was just for effect it wont happen again without sheer dumb luck of course. the plan is for a character that's fun, can fight, but is totally mad.
Name: Leo Backenben Nickname: Leodric Personality: Often distant and calm, something that his training has given him. Along with that he's cold towards those he doesn't know, or when he isn't drunk. Being in light or having it shine anywhere close to his face for some time will give him a bad mood, which also stems from his training. Appearance: Leo stems from the more northern parts of the planet, where brute force and help through tools has given more success over the years. Thus, he has become evolved through the more "human" path, giving him appendages for front hooves, a spine that makes him stand on the hind legs, but with hooves for the back legs. He has, practically always, a dark-grey hoodie with unfitting arms that go longer than his actual arms, hiding his hands. He prefers to have his hood on, as it allows his face to be completely hidden in a black fog. Upper or lower class: Lower. (If lower) Gladiator or Worker: Gladiator. Other info: Leo was trained in the shadoic school, inhabiting him with shadoic magic, allowing him to manipulate shadows to a degree from conjuring shadoic weapons to slight enhancements of his or others abilities. This covers for any type of darkness there is, whether it be inside his hoodie or anywhere close to him. This allows him to become stronger during the night, but weaker during the day. A good way to keep him contained his to easily just spray alot of light on him. Full-body coverage with any light will incapacitate him. One more thing. Leo comes from the northen regions, so many do not know of him. However, he has trained with his village and learnt, apart from the shadoic abilities, icick powers. It's pretty self-explanatory what all this does.

Unfortunately one of his wings tried to kill him, so he literally took it off. Once a farmer, he moved to the arena to try and get a better shot at winning the meal of everyday.
oh sory, I forgot to mention that he is a normal earth pony. he aint got no magic or can fly. My OC here is a earth pony with a strange sickness that gave him a horn and wings at birth, but can't use them well. He can't fly and the only magic he does is levitation, that took him 5 years to learn the basics. So, basicly, he's an earth pony. Just wanting to clear things up. :3
I hear this explanation all too much. He has horn and wings. ALICORN. If they don't do anything, their worthless and add nothing to the character, so I suggest you get rid of them. But generally, I don't allow alicorns in my RPs.
Having them, butt them not working the the whole point, it just adds to the construction of the OC, for example, I have a changeling who, because he can't fly, specializes in magic, but he can find any spells meant for changeling use, so he just has these wings that can only move... (also, Jay (from what I've seen on other sign ups) has malformations (deformations) so if anything it's a disadvantage.)
