I just found out that despite the fact that the movie premires tomorrow my theater won't be showing it until June 22 and 23.
I just want to see it to see the Derpy cameo Spoiler Derpy is in the end credits dancing with a muffin in her hand
I saw the film today (I booked the day off work and wore my Rainbow Dash-themed outfit), and it wasn't that bad. I kept an open mind during the film, and there are definitely some things that can be used for future plots in the show. Indeed it could have been better, but in my opinion, Hasbro didn't kill MLP.
I sincerely hope that not too many people bothered the little girls in the theaters. I've already heard stories about families leaving early because of bronies, but it's not unlikely they are mere rumours. Then again, it's not unlikely they aren't. Stay classy, everyone!
Has anyone found the movie online? I have found multiple but are fake, that only show the trailer. - - Auto Merge - - Why would families leave just because people want to watch a film? I saw Titanic in 3D and there was alot of children there, some were even younger than 10 ;P its like what you said, but opposite, kinda xD
We're not supposed to discuss piracy here, so maybe you should keep that in mind. If some bronies were being loud and obnoxious, spouting memes everywhere. Allegedly, somebody shouted "YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE MEEEEE" in the cinema. Emphasis on allegedly. I mean, the whole thing with bronies threatening staff was never confirmed and likely fabricated, so I'm not necessarily saying that this actually happened. All I'm saying is, as an adult watching a movie with many kids in the audience, please, everyone be mindful so that the kids can enjoy the experience too. I've seen some adults and many teens behave like crap in the theme park I used to work in, making the experience sour for the children. Hell, I've raised my voice once or twice on those occasions. Not accusing anyone of anything, just hoping that those who go see the movie are mindful.
The only online ones will be recorded from the screen. Kinda surprised there isn't one already. As for bronies making families leave. I believe it. I can only imagine what it would be like, 99% of those thoughts are that it's awful.
Like I said before I found out that my local theater in my area won't be playing it until June 22- 23 so I wasn't able to watch it yesterday because it wasn't playing at my local theater yesterday.
So far people seem to like it http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/my_little_pony_equestria_girls/#audience_reviews
Why does noone/ pony care that my theater in my area won't be playing the movie until this weekend and as such I was not able to watch the movie yesterday I mean i've only mentioned that twice so far?
I don't want to sound mean, but what's to care about? It's not playing at my local theater either. I'm confused, do you want an award or something?
When I went yesterday, I was talking to some bronies before the film, and they came from Toronto, Ontatio to see the movie, which was playing in Oakville, Ontario. (For those who don't know Canadian geography, Toronto is the capital of Ontario, and Oakville is a town an hour away with lots of pretentious people)
I'm only going to post this once since I'm sick and tired of both the pessimists and optimists of EQG. If you dont like it, dont watch it. If you like it, talk it out with someone who likes it. No need to unzip your pants and flail your privates out for everyone to see. Inculcate this in your mind:
