My neighbor's cat is meowing outside my window. This strikes me as unusual, as the cat died in January.
I decided I needed a reminder of how terrible I am at games, so I picked up Metro 2033. dis gon b gud.
I popped in my copy of RE4 for the first time in years. Even though horror stuff doesn't scare me anymore, its the one game that still manages to do just that. That and being out of practice, it kicks my ass.
My brother and I just beat RE5 for the first time. Geez, we were crying on the floor from how much we were laughing. Chris vs. Boulder was great, but seeing the multiple ways Wesker could kill us on the giant quicktime event on the plane had us hysterical.
I can't play horror games. I scare too easily. I used to watch my brother play Silent Hill and Resident Evil back in the day, and it was fine back then because I wasn't really immersed. But you can't pay me enough to play something like Amnesia. I'd die.
Hey hey hey, I loved RE5. Yes it was an action game rather than a horror game, but really now. I loved it a lot.
The only part that got to me in RE5 was that stupid spider boss in the elevator. He wasn't hard, just tedious. Everything else was fun, especially Wesker...just, yes. I thought letting go of Sheva in the airplane was a viable option. My brother got pissed that I let him go to kill Wesker, but we ended up laughing our butts off when it failed me for letting go. xD
