Could you guys please slow down with the posting. I have literally just woken up and we're five pages in already.
And now the bell has rung for class. This could get complicated. Would you like to fast forward to lunch? - - Auto Merge - - I'm going to the zoo today with the family, so I probably won't be on much today.
It's all good, we can manage to prolong first period. But can you tell me whether or not my "Peter concealing his web shooters" plot thread is offensive or not. Spoiler: The plot thread I have a plot thread planned where Peter keeps concealing his wrist in order to conceal the web shooters. I think this could lead to the other students thinking he was cutting himself or something. Hilarity ensues. Please tell me if this plot thread seems to offensive Okay everybody, I found a fatal flaw in the roleplay. Absolutely ZERO conflict. - - Auto Merge - - I think the best way to add conflict would be to add a bully character into the mix. Say, a hall monitor who happens to be on the football team and abuses his power. Like Sunset Shimmer, said hall monitor gets what he wants. Since it wouldn't be fair for anyone to have to play the bad guy, the bully will be a "puppet" character, we all can control, the only rule is he can't be in multiple places at once. I'm thinking of going full on stereotype for this character. He hits on Stephanie and Maggie against their will. Bullies Jacob and Jessie. and beats up Peter
American school is definatly different to over here no uniform (in my case black jumper, white polo, black socks and plack trousers) and definatly different terms. So I will probably be using British school terms such as Forms, headteacher etc. Also I'm thinking of setting up something like this but with English secondary school life instead of American high school.
And apparently Star Shimmer is completely safe. In any case, I have an antagonist lined up, but feel free to introduce new characters/antagonists as you please. Edit: Oh, right. Peter's arc. As long as we stay away from explicitly mentioning anything like cutting, and just call it..."something", I think it'll be kosher.
I feel like Steph and Peter were ignored a bit in the last few posts seeing as we both were standing next to Adam
So here is a list of Peter's relationships with the other characters and a longer Bio Bio:Peter was a teenage nerd before he moved to Canterlot his hobbies included comic books, and science experiments. He lived with his aunt and uncle. But unfortunately had a tendency to ditch responsibility. One day over the summer on a trip to a biology lab, he was bitten by a spider that had been exposed to a chemical substance, giving him amazing powers. He never used the wall crawling powers and only used the acrobatics to show off in basketball. That is, until his uncle died. Out of grief, his aunt and him moved to Canterlot where he vowed to no longer ditch responsibility and use his powers wisely. Stephanie: She and him haven't really had any scenes together Jacob: Hates Peter due to his joking nature Adam: They get along for the most part Blueblood: Thinks of him as a wimp, if only he knew. Star: Peter saved her and has respect for her for hanging in there while Blueblood was wailing on her, but she barely knows him because he was Spiderman when he did it. Jessie: Peter respects him for saving him from the bully. Maggie: She seems to respect Peter, but dislikes him for the jokes he made about her and Jacob. Planned Story Arcs for Peter Spoiler: This one happens AFTER magic has been revealed to the world, plus I will only do this one if I have permission because of the conditions I had to bring myself into this roleplay Filthy Rich, a person bent on money and power, and head of Oscorp (the ones who made the Spider that bit Peter), extracts some magic and has it injected into himself. Since his heart is impure, the magic slowly starts warping, not only his mind, but his physical appearance, turning him into the Green Goblin. NOTE: I agree to make Green Goblin nothing more than a side antagonist, I could also make side antagonist for each of us, Blueblood would go to Maggie. The idea of this one is to give Peter someone who is more powerful than him and could actually give him a run for his money. By taking Spiderman's enemy from the comics and putting him into the RP and then making it so that he is powered by magic. It makes it so Spiderman's scenes won't only have action. But conflict. In fact. After Goblin is introduced, it also leads to Peter believing that magic should not be wielded by anyone. A lot of the Spiderman vs Goblin scenes are Goblin just beating the crap out of Peter like in the first movie. Filthy Rich would also be a round character instead of a static one. Before being magically altered, Filthy would just be a greedy monopoly owning business man. After the magic warps his physical appearance, he can't stand to look at what he's become, but at the same time loves his new power, his love of this power replaces what little guilt and mercy he has left and he inevitably turns into this (Note: That image is rather scary, but it's the traditional Green Goblin and not some power ranger wanna-be) In the end, as long as I tread VERY carefully, I can see the Goblin adding a lot of depth to Peter's story in this. Spoiler: Peter's gratitude Peter apologizes to Maggie, and thanks everybody for saving him from Blueblood, this develops a more friendly relationship between him and the others
1- drunkard dad (Maggie) 2- being raised by aunt, alone (Peter) 3- overprotective father (Star) 4- both parents are loving and caring circus people, has pet tiger (Jessie) Anyone else surprised that the clown has the most "normal" home life?
I said "normal" meaning what is seen as "normal" jeez. And I didn't know about the other characters so I put up what I knew. I only knew those 4 characters at the time.
On the other hand, there is no universe where having Sombra for a father is considered normal. :derpe:
