Incredibly fitting song I can't say for sure if i'll be leaving the site, but what i can say for sure is i'm leaving the staff. (Yes, permanently this time). Right now you're all probably thinking: "Does this have anything to do with Harley and Bounty leaving?" To which i can honestly say their resignation has somewhat inspired me to do the same. Harley chose not to share too many details to save what's left of the site. I'll try to respect that wish, but there are some things i just have to say. Several weeks ago, someone sent the staff a list that contained some harsh but true criticism. At first it seemed terribly biased, and i chose to ignore it, and many others on staff did as well. However, as time passed more and more of what was written in that list started making sense. To that member i offer my most sincere apologies. Your criticism was very welcome and it helped me to make my decision. I won't share the details of that list considering it was sent to us in private. That said, I strongly advise the remaining staff to look through that list again and acknowledge the criticism they received rather than ignore it. The reason why i'm leaving the staff is because there's simply no sense in sticking around anymore. Foxy and Grey were the only true administrators Everypony ever had. You see, they actually ran the site towards something. Zephyr was good, but not great. Mike was a more than decent replacement for Grey, and i hope they both stay here, or even consider returning as admin. Mike and Grey are the best chance Everypony still has. Even after months of retirement, i can honestly say Grey still cares more about the site than any of the current admins do. The biggest problems started when Zephyr and Mike both resigned on an incredibly short notice, leaving them to choose two new admins with little to no experience. I suppose Tyro was the only possible choice to replace Mike as tech admin. As for Eight Star, I must assume Zephyr was completely apathetic about the future of Everypony when he selected him. Eight Star is no administrator. He's just "that one guy in the staff room". If I had to choose a new admin when Zephyr left, i would have picked Blazing, Soul, Swift, or Harley if only she'd have been more active. In fact, Harley was as close to the perfect choice as it could get at the time. Any of those four would have been a better choice than Eight Star. I can't speak badly of anyone else in staff right now. All of you have your strengths and flaws. But as long as Everypony is in the hands of Eight Star and Tyro, it won't have much of a future. When Harley and Bounty left the staff room, everyone aspired to make improvements. Get serious. Start doing things. Get the site up and running (again).... ...That's what we always say when stuff like this happens, but we never do. It's a moment of impulse that dies before the day is over. There are probably a few former staff members still around who can confirm what i'm saying. After all this has happened many times before. Aside from never getting things done, now that Harley is gone, it'll take twice as much effort to even get a community post up every week. Harley was the one who put the effort in gathering information. She put effort into writing them whenever it was her turn to do so. And while i think i'm partly to blame for Harley leaving, i'm certainly not the only one at fault. Harley (if you're still here to read this), i'm absolutely sorry for my part in your reasons for leaving. Harley and Bounty left because they were not happy with how the current staff operates. I'm leaving the staff because i can see that it doesn't operate at all. It is very clear to me that Eight and Tyro simply don't care about getting things done. Often they've blamed it on not having enough time to do things, and that their private life gets in the way. If it gets in the way so much that you can't do a single thing to effectively run this site, step down and pick someone else. But i highly doubt you're that busy at all. I've seen you guys online more than enough. Foxy put every free moment he could spare into the site. That's what made him great. He had focus, he saw things through to the end and pushed others to do the same. When Foxy and Grey were running things, the staff room was genuinly alive and always progressing towards something, and that in turn reflected back upon the site. Now the staff room is dead, and that too reflects back upon the site. You guys can either close the site and be done with it, or keep struggling in vain to keep doing something you don't care about. After all this time i'm sure as hell that whatever you aspire to do in response to this, whatever you promise yourselves, you'll have forgotten about it before the week is over. Do what you want, but i've had it. I'll be keeping an eye on the site, maybe post sometimes if the subject interests me, and i'll be here when the ship sinks. I've been on staff for nearly a year, and aside from the last two months or so, i've had the best time of my life. I'd like to thank Foxy, Grey, and many others who were on staff a year ago for the chance to prove my worth as a staff member of Everypony. Right now is the time i can honestly see and admit i've been far from perfect.
Fitting song indeed. I personally thank you for your service in staff here. You were always there to help make the tough decisions and push the less-liked solutions when others would have just thrown them under the rug. Yes you sometimes got a bit heated on things but we're all human. Regardless of all the less-than-nice things some people have said or feel about you, it's easy for me to look above and beyond and see someone who truly loves and cares for the site. I'd like to say that things will turn around for Everypony but even I start to doubt this... It will take more than a few radio shows and hopes of a good season to whip things into shape...to put it lightly. I hope to continue to see you around the site, if not well I'll see you on Skype.
Wowzers. It's sad to hear about all this drama, but I hope you find peace now that you've stepped down.
I'll definetly keep my Skype open, but i'll probably be around the site sometimes as well. I'd prefer it if people don't call it "drama" even if that's what it is.
Tyro and Eight started out as RP mods and that is where their true talent lies. Tyro was the one who built up and improved the theatre while Eight Star created the Acts (in the forms of role-plays) as well as the main production of the theatre in the form of EPRP. That's where their skills and enthusiasm will always truely be while the rest of the forum slowly suffer. with the theatre slowly slipping into a state of disrepair, actors (rpers) leave, understudies never arrive and the play's die and it's becoming ever more frequent. Well that's my extended metaphore done. Good luck on your departure and arrivadeti (or however you spell it.

Originally, the thought never crossed my mind that you'd make a thread like this, and I applaud you for it. Undoubtedly there are going to be some undesireables who say 'Good riddance'. Two months ago, I would have been one of them. Reading this showed me that you really do care about the site, even though in my mind I assumed you were just there to be there at some points. I apologize for how I worded my post back then, because I know it was harsh and I know it seemed crude and insulting, but those select few who knew it wasn't didn't take it that way, and somewhere down the line you noticed that too, so I appreciate it. I hope to see you around here until the final hour comes around, but if you don't, I understand. Thank you for your service, and while it may have been a bit turbulent for us, I hope things can improve over time between us as well.
In all honesty, I can't say that I'm sad to see you step down. You have always been far too quick to delete or edit posts that you felt were "rude," regardless of whether or not any rules were broken (or, for that matter, whether or not the post was actually an obvious joke). I don't know if it's a cultural misunderstanding, or if you simply have a problem with brutal honesty, but the fact remains that you needlessly and unfairly censored me on multiple occasions. That said, you seem like a reasonably decent person, and I have enjoyed reading many of your forum posts. While I have never thought highly of you as a Mod, as a member, you're great. I hope you decide to stick around.

Rarit just did it more than others because he was the one on scene most of the time. So if you have a problem with censorship, take it up with the entire staff, not just one person.
Adios Trace, may you fare better trails in your travels. Side question: Is the staff this overtaxed that they're all deciding to leave a eulogy and jump ship instead of doing their damnedest or is the problem literally impossible to remedy or to the very least, be minimalized so not everyone's holding a gun to their head?
And basically just add everything Rarit said about him in there. A time for a new administration is here, I do believe. And fun fact: You STILL haven't removed Bounty from the staff list, guys. @SirSPT : People are trying to do their damndest... but they are shot down by the administrators AND the laziness of the staff as a whole. This is a problem that I have seen for a year, and when I tried to change it (As well as a few others) I was completely shot down. The staff are not free of blame, but certain members of it are more to blame than others. Especially when Eight calls Harley 'hostile' and essentially says Good Riddance to her. I don't feel comfortable having someone like that as my administrator at all.
I'm sad to see you go, Rarit. You were one of the working bodies of us, one of the senior members willing to share their knowledge. While I wasn't on the staff very long, you were willing to put up with me and even helped with my mistakes. We never really talked much, but when we did I thought over it well. Even when I was still a member, I always liked you. Everyone complaining that you were too quick to do your job or too harsh on people I didn't understand. The two times you ever had to tell me anything, you seemed pleasant and calm. Suppose I'm too new at things to understand. Either way, I'm very sad to see you go. The staff have some hard times ahead.
I'm not sure what to say here except this: It sounds like this site is going to sink unless some serious changes in staff are made.
