Well considering some people never knew about it/saw it and the fact it was tucked away at the bottom of the page where you have no need to scroll to...
Not sure but why did you like it? What did you like about it? There was. It's gone for now while we decide what to do with it. But, umm...Do you guys not think it was a little over engineered for a simple Shoutbox? Well up top it looks cluttered and down below is awkward and I'm confident the controls won't allow for leeway. Until I find something to alter it with, it'll be up to top or down below all the way.
Redesign the forum template(s) to accommodate it then in that case, rather than putting it wherever you see fit because it looks cluttered. And yes, it was a tiny bit over engineered :derpe:
I don't see much point in the shoutbox, honestly. Sure it's pretty and nice but... I'm sure people are going to use it more as a Chat V 2 or something like that, which really only adds more needless workload to you guys. I mean sure the shoutbox can be used as a place to like... leave messages for other people, but don't we have PM's for that or something? I don't think it's very useful. Just my 2c.
I will when I figure out where the code snippet is and we find use for it. Little pestilent HTML code is nowhere to be seen in the current versions. And yeah, this is pretty much the million dollar question: What's the point if we have the Chat already? As a small box to put down small messages, which is what a shout box should be, it's greatly overblown. But as a little chat, it's rather nice. But, we have a chat already so it's difficult finding it a spot.
I have no idea what a shoutbox is, but from what I understand it's a chat. Other then that I never saw it, I have no idea where it was. If it like a chat, would we really need a second one.

A shoutbox, from my understanding is Chat light, or at least a local version of Twitter. You post short messages to draw attention to something in the website. Also, your profile pic is bizarre. Absolutely bizarre. Edit: Hang on...
I liked it. I don't want to have a spare tab open just for quick conversations. I usually have tumblr and Everypony's forum page open. I reload them constantly. The shoutbox was very entertaining when everything else was being "slow"
All right. Back for a short while only, the Shoutbox. Have a good look and poke about. I will too actually, I discovered new things.
I would alter the shape of the radio box to be a bit taller and less wide, and put the shoutbox next to it. That's just me though.

So I just used it for all of 30 seconds for my demo. I don't get it. It seems to be put in a place that people never go, or maybe it's just me. I never go to that page, it seems no different then the chat expect font, text color and shorter messages. I see no point for it to continue to be here, it just seems like another thing the staff will have to watch over.
Maybe this would be most useful in the RP forums? A place where OOC talk can occur without interrupting the flow of RP's. There's little functional use I can think of for a shoutbox on a forums, it'll distract and pull attention away from the threads.
