I got my nephews hooked on it. They love it almost as much as I do. For a different reason of course. They like the childishness of it. As for my friends... Lets just say I am the Donny of the group (Big Lebowski Reference) but no only 1 of my 5 friends showed any interest in it at all when I made them watch it. I got two of them to accompany me to bronycon though!
Even though my elder sister gave me one of the most questionable expressions I've ever seen on the day that I sheepishly admitted to her that I was watching (and loving) MLP, she gave the show a chance after I recommended it to her, and now.. she is a hardcore pegasister! XD So now we watch (and re-watch) MLP episodes all the time together And it's not just the show either; we frequently view the fan-vids on YouTube and jam to the brony-tunes on a regular basis. Hearing a track from Super Ponybeat playing from either of our rooms is not a rare occurrence in the least. My little sister (I'm the middle-child) has shown mild interest in the show, but so far she doesn't seem to want to embrace it as much as myself. And that's cool, I don't pester her about it. Of course, on a lighter note, I got a neighbor of mine into the show too! He's actually a little younger than myself, and he looked at me like I was insane when I let him know I was a brony. Long story short: His favorite pony is Rainbow Dash, he loves the show now
My mom loves the show. She compares it to South Park for some reason. We watched Magical Mystery Cure together. And she's watched numerous episodes on her own. Spike's her favorite character. My dad loves the music, and praised me for being open minded enough to enjoy it. He actually recommended it to my cousin who were asking me for shows to watch with their daughter.
SilverDash approves of this. Seriously, its pretty cool of your dad to say something like that. Now, if only all parents thought like that...
Watched it with my boss, my mum, and my little brother at different times. All had fun. I think I may have made my brother a brony, though. He wants to buy a badge for the convention I'm working on now.
The closest I've ever been watching the show with somebody else was during the livestream of Canterlot Wedding (Is this how you guys watch cartoons all the time? So many ads...). Never watched it in the actual presence of another person though, as I know of no one here who's interested in it (or even cartoons in general).
I usually watch episodes with my sister (Sessha-) when they come out. Sometimes with Croatia bronies on meetups.
My brother, usually, as of the past. Now I wanna start watching the show on my own along side my Riku dolly
Naah, he still LOVES the show. He's just seen the re-ones a bit too many times and is really into computer rpgs now XD I think he's now just waiting for season 4 lol
I've watched it with my brother before >.> Not that I turned him into a Brony or anything *nervously laughs*
Well, I just showed my mom Lesson Zero. She thought it was cute. As expected, she elbowed me and I nodded when it got to Sparky talking about magic kindergarten.
I've watched it with my little brother, but he's 8-years-old and was a "brony" before me, so that's not very interesting. I'd like to show my sister some of my favorite episodes. She's big into Disney, and I think that some episodes are on par with Disney animations, so I think she'll get a kick out of it.
