    I was doing networking stuff before high school, and then got a CISCO certification in first year high school... so this is so slow ;-;
    I don't even like networking stuff at all. I prefer plain old local software.

    Its still important to learn basics. How you can interact with networks and the internet in general, especially seeing as everyone's moving to using the internet for everything.

    Indeed it is. I mostly do understand a lot of the basics with networking, addressing and all that; but through a lot of self taught things, playing around with equipment. That sort of thing. I didn't mean to say it wasn't interesting, I do find just about anything in computing interesting, just not necessarily what I'd want to focus on. :)
