This looks pretty awesome. I am speculating that the Equestria Games are going to be in S4 bcz of Harshwinny which is awesome! Not sure how to feel about Nightmare Moon being in it. I am not sure how they will make that happen. The song was awesome! That is all.
They need NNM, best villain is best after all. Though I'm sure it will be one of those "I have to turn to the dark side to save people" things.
I thought at the first the animation going with the song was referencing The Beverly Hillbillies, but then I noticed Granny Smith was not sitting up on the back of the cart. I'm not in to the whole superhero genre, but for some reason I'm kind of looking forward to the 'Power Ponies' episode.
The current rumour going around about Nightmare Moon is that Twilight Sparkle either went back in time 1000 years or is simply viewing Celestia's memories, giving us an origin story of how Luna went nuts.
If the rumour is true, then I think a number of bronies may have had their wish granted. I'm pretty sure a number of users here wanted an episode based on origins, albeit about the history of Equestria rather than a character.
Yeah, the Luna bit does seem like a flashback. It didn't appear to me that she was speaking to Twilight, as much as she was speaking to someone that was in Twilight's place. Manehatten and superhero ponies? I like the sound of that! The song was ok....wonder why Pinkie is there....
I am so excited for Season 4. I was hoping they would do some episodes that actually explained what happened 1,000 years ago. I wonder if the Nightmare things from the comic are canon in the animated universe.
I... Tried so hard... To avoid... Spoilers. :S I'm kinda glad I watched that though, I'm a little more pumped for Season 4 now. :3 Anyway, loving how all these episodes are looking so far! This's looking to be a good season- Especially looking forward to seeing how that CMC Episode turns out. The song made my eyes kinda watery... Have no idea why. *Shrug*
I'm have mixed feelings about revealing Nightmare Moon's backstory. As much as I want to see it, it is likely to kill some cherished headcanons, and destroy my favorite OC.
