What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? Also... What do you feel is the single most important change that this site needs to make?
Is there a simplified version of that question? There is no such thing as an unstoppable force once it meets an immovable object. Like i said before, the most important thing (in my opinion) is that the members of the staff need to care more about the users of the site. They need to show interest when a certain member is having issues either with the site, the staff, or another member. If a member has issues with one of these things, they're inclined to help them to the best of their abilities, instead of giving them a single reply and assuming the problem will solve itself. They also need to be more active on the forums instead of staying backstage discussing things that'll probably never happen. That said, some staff members have no problems at all showing themselves on the site. Even if they're only active in the GCT, at least they're active. If the members of the staff show more interest and activity, the forum will come back to life on it's own, and only then can they start focussing on doing things for the community to keep the forum alive between seasons. tl;dr: If the community's morale is low, it's up to the staff to pump it back up.
