Manehatten was written in a ark at the top and already nerves were settling. Song looked down and walked into the busy courtyard where parents were saying their goodbyes and the older class men were scouting the freshman for Celestia knows what. She arrived at the freshman check in and nervously played with her guitar case strap nervously as she waited in line. As she looked around and take a step forward in the line she began to take in everything. From the front gate straight ahead the campus hall was seen and to its right was some of the dorms, probably for the stallion and to the left of the hall were more dorms. The music and theater department was behind the stallion dorms and the normal classes her in the corner between the hall and the mare dorms.
Charlotte walked into the Campus. She took in a deep whiff. "Ah...One believes this will be a new experience..." She walked to the Freshman sign up line and scouted around. She was looking for something. She was looking for the creative arts section of the College, But couldn't see anything of the sort, even though this was just the first part of the college. She had no idea how big this place was or how she was going to remember where all her classes would be. To be honest, she really only cared if there would be any sort of 'Drama club' or anything. She continued to wait in line and noticed in the corner of her eye, some senior Stallions eyeing her, and talking to each other. Charlotte gulped. "Ok...One thinks this first year may be difficult..."
Fire had already signed in and also already had her camera out. Practicing her camera angles and movements while she documented the hustle and bustle of the start of University. She was doing this as she was studying media and wanted to film everything so she could implement it into her final project.
Loira walked onto campus, a cream Volkswagen bug behind her. Her saddlebags were a robin egg blue, and her horn glowed with the exact same hue. Small bluebells idly grew at her feet, and she stared fixedly at the hubbub in front of her. Where to go?
After a bit more filming she pulled out her dorm key from her jacket. She checked the number and then the map before heading off and trying to remember who she was told her dormmate would be. Then it clicked to her. "Koira, was it or was it Loira." she wasn't really paying attention as she bumped into a mare whose horn seemed to be glowing a light blue. "Oops sorry about that, wasn't paying attention. To busy trying to remember my supposed dorm mates name."
Charlotte looks at the pony in front of her and tapped her on the shoulder. "Excuse one? But doth thou know how long this will take? One has a very important thing to figureout..."
Song finished getting everything set up and smiled kindly at the welcome committee volunteer and took her key before turning to the pony behind her. "Sorry, i couldn't figure out the dorms or where the music department was." she said and took a map as well amd move to the side to examine it. She read the map as she walked not realizing a tree root stood in her path before she tripped over it and her stuff going everywhere. She quickly stood, her face red with embarrassment and quickly tried to gather the sheet music and books before anyone could ruin them.
She sighs and walks forwards to get herself sorted out. She fills in her details and collects her key and map. She was wondering who her roommate was and she was told Rocking Song was her roommate. She knew what the first things she would say to her but first she goes to help Song up. "Art thou Ok? One was worried?"
"yes thank you.. hey you wouldn't happen to be Charlotte would you?" she asked organizing her sheet music once it was all done flying all over the place and stuffing it quickly into her guitar case. She stuffed the books in her bags and strapped the guitar to her back again.
"Yes im Rocking Song but you can call me Song and you'll have to race me for the top bunk." she laughed and shook her head. "Im kidding you can have it, i'de fall off if i had it anyways." she said adjusting her guitar on her back and looked at the map. "Speaking of bunks.. do you know where our dorm even is?" she asked, turning the map a full 360 trying to find where they were.
(CHEEBUS! Wow, totally sorry. Where to start...) As I, Comet Fire, slowly entered the University grounds, I noticed just how big the thing was. There was a lot of ponies nearby, and they, well...most of them, were talking and all...I didn't really know how to introduce myself. I had been presented with a map before entering the grounds, which excited me. I wanted to know who I was bunk-mates with and where my dorm was. As I slowly read the map, I couldn't quite tell which dorm was mine. I stopped, checking everywhere. "This doesn't look too big..." I mumbled, rolling up the paper and putting it into my bag with my mouth. "Now...where to start..." I mumbled, looking around.
"Names Fireheart by the way. Wait do you so happen to be Loira. If so which bunk do you want." she reajusted her saddlebags as she waited for an answer.
"Erm...One thinks it's on one's key..." Charlotte checked her key that she was given. It had a small paper tag that read A23. "One thinks it's room A23...Shall we head over there?"
"Okay then, see you in a bit. The rooms A22 if you're wandering." She skiled as she walked off to the dorm saddlebag and suitcase in tow.
"Ok i think thats to the right.. oh its this way!" she said pointing to the building and trotting to the front door. "So tell me about yourself Charlotte, by the way you speak im guessing your into theater?"
I looked around, kind of bored. There wasn't much to do except try to find my dorm. OR, I could just ask a teacher...I looked again. There was one labeled A29...I guess I could go there...although I think that no one would want a dorm that far away from the classes...sighing, I started walking inside, wondering what would happen to me here, would I make new friends, die...that's for fate to decide...
As she was walking and towing her suitcase she began filming again. Approaching the building hers and Loiras room was situated in. As she walked she passed some other first years. She climbed up a few stairs. And opened up the door to the corridor where her room was. She carried on walking opening up her dorm before dropping off her bags and setting up her laptop and posters. "great, I've still got my bleach, Naruto and hetalia posters. This is going to look good. How I love the crystal empire in hetalia."
