Aww thanks! I put up an apology post to my followers for my reasons for no uploads recently. I feel really bad and I have all the pages lined up and so much more content but things are preventing me from being focused enough to continue! After my Psychiatrist appointment tomorrow I hope I'll be in the direction that helps me get off my azz.
Hey, no worries. We all have things that keeps us from making our art. Like working, sleeping, eating, and stuff. It's only natural not to post everyday on our tumblrs: it's a blog, not facebook.
Drawing is my favourite hing to do of all time and so I'm quite upset that I'm only on sketching/inking levels now and not full on digital colouring. But hey, everyone has their blocks! And as you say quite rightly, Tumblr isn't facebook!
I used to draw all the time when i was in High School. But, back in college, NO WAY YOU DRAW. Take notes! Work hard! Then i quitted, lack of money. So i worked as a cook. And slowly, i've falled into the lost artist pit. And i've disappeared from the map for a while, looking to be forgotten by my few fans. They wanted me to draw... r34.
In college I used to doodle all the time. It'll probably be the same in university aswell! I still got the grades I wanted though, so at least it didn't ruin my education like everyone thought it would. Ugh, I get requests all the time for Pony R34. :/ I'm just like. I was offered 50 for a large one, but i needed to print it on a poster, and didn't have the guts to go to the store to make it print. Yes, He wanted an ORIGINAL ON PAPER. Can you picture it? an adult walking in a staples, and printing... /This/, in front of kids? I dropped it out, even if 50$ sure is a good kick.
Me and my Fiancee were SERIOUSLY considering going into the R34 buisness because of how profitable it was, buit neither of us have the lack of morality to stoop that low to earn money yet. I was going to draw (get better) and he would handle the buisness part because I suck at that and he is super smart with that crap. It was disturbing how much we contemplated it, but we are VERY poor. I also said the same thing about you and the printing issue! He was like "Well do commissions until we have enough money to buy our own fabric printer! and A2 printer!" and I was just like "NO." It would take years to get that amount, not to mention no-one would want a commission from me yet because I am sub par at art! We have strange conversations.
I beleive i have stranger ones. If you happen to find my Exs, they'll all tell you how weird i could be at times. And how the Bro code and ponies had priorities over anything and everything else. Ponies have saved my life. Literally.
In my case, they've been there to help me keep my happiness and kept me from attempting suicide when the intimidation i suffered was too much. They've also been a big part of my... *cough* desintox *cough*. - - Auto Merge - - Hey, i'll try to upload stuff tomorrow. Though i lost my final version of my latest comission, simply Rarity. Made with wooden pencil and pretty show-accurate. I gave it to a Rarity fan... Wich hasn't even paid for it!
Concerning the WIP, I think going full Bat Pony and adding ear tufts and dragon eyes would look really good. Of course, that's just my opinion.
At first I wanted to make her a hybrid between a Bat pony and Unicorn and then I was just; "Is that even possible? WTF" So going full bat pony is probably a good idea, I'll try it out!
That'd be cool! Something like a study or something like Zecora's place. I'm terrible with backgrounds though.
