Well here goes my sub-par intro (I cheated by looking at other intros ) Hi. My name is Daniel from Texas. What part of Texas I won't tell just yet, but I will say that I'm an 18 year old pursuing a degree in aerospace engineering (still haven't exactly decided on "aero" or "space"). I've always enjoyed and wondered how these waaaaaay-heavier-than-air multi-tonned behemoths took flight. Of course, anything will fly if you put a big enough engine on it. I enjoy looking at jet engines and the systems and structures that enable such flight even at speeds above the speed of sound. BTW, Dashie is my favorite pony because she is an awesome flyer. As for my personality, I'm mostly reserved and prefer not to talk too much, except online because keyboards, software and Ethernet cables serve as great buffers. Even online I won't be the most talkative, so if you happen to like the stuff I like and discuss it a lot, then I'll probably be a good friend. You could say my personality is a mix between Twily and Fluttershy. My name does not actually signify what I want to do as a professional, but rather a fun little thing I just found out about and learning. (Computer programming is that thing, if you have to ask.) I'm here to speak with and hopefully make friends with some nice new people and maybe share some stuff that I find interesting or discuss topics about ponies. A word of caution: don't expect me to be online too often, because school is my first priority (but FiM is around my third, behind aircraft). I sound like an antisocial little git, but I guess that's just me.
Subjectivity not welcome (joking) Oh, and I'm not a camel, but rather a unicorn pony named Nightfall Luster. lowerCamelCase is a way of typing that's standard in many programming languages. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 4
It's a pleasure to welcome you in our cozzy corner of the fandom, and introduce you to our Familly! If you need anything, be sure to pass by the chat. I'm almost always there, and it'll be a pleasure to show you around or help you in any way i can. So, Nightfall, if you happen to be a Rper, i can show you around. We're always looking for new roleplayers: the more the merrier. Until we meet again, have a nice day, and get acquainted with eeryone around: they're all nice people. Oh, almost forgot. Here's a welcome cupcake. throws a cupcake at LowerCamelCase.
howdy and welcome to to everypony i hope that you enjoy your stay with us and by the way for liking rainbow dash she is my fav too.
That's an implication that I'll willingly leave? Gasp! When the fandom someday dies out and this site is shut down for good... nope. I refuse to think such morbid thoughts... -------- Unfortunately I'm not an RPer simply because 1) I found that I sucked at it and 2) it's hard for me to engage in such conversation. You could say I'm a platitude when it comes to activities of that sort: I'm not all that creative. That's not to say that I dismiss the very idea of roleplaying, but rather to say that I totally suck and might hinder your progress in conversation (believe me, I've crashed many good conversations elsewhere). I'll join if I think I can handle it The name Nightfall Luster was synthesized on Twilight Sparkle's name and following the pattern of Sunset Shimmer -- I just chose two more synonyms of my liking. By the way, thanks for the cupcake! W-what does it contain? Hopefully not... (Cupcakes fic reference here) -------- It's a smaller world that I expected. Corpus Christi (yes, I creep on profiles but don't be too worried about that) is down on the coast and I'm still far inland (albeit not quite as far as my previous residence). Nice to know people of some proximity are online ________ And dangItIshouldntBeQuotingSoMuch. In any case, it's great to see such a welcoming community! I especially loved the pics of Fluttershy and Dash!
Don't be afraid, i haven't diced my assistant's organs and baked them in this batch. You look like you've got a lot to talk about, why don't you head over the general chat thread number three, in the general discussion area? I'm sure the guys out there would like to know you better, and that you'd fit right in with the gang that hangs there. For the roleplay, if you want i could ''train'' you. By that, i mean to show you how to make a good character sheet and to stick to it. You don't need creativity for this sort of things: it only takes a little knowledge in Drama, and the ability to create another personnality. I wish you a pleasant day, and a long stay in our little familly. Hope you'll have as much fun as we are, and don't be shy: we're all there because we like to share ideas and enjoy a show about colorfull ponies.
Thanks for offering! I'm a little short on time because all of my professors decided to assign homework this week and I'm stuck doing it, so not quite yet. In any case, have a very pleasant night! Thanks! (Really there was no creativity needed: just go and ask a thesaurus)
Take your time, really. I've just got some wonderfull (I guess i'm sarcastic) news: i've worked in two restaurants in my life, as a cook (or i washed the plates and stuff, and did everything i could do around to help to be liked and have a promotion), for a total of 6 months. And i've just been hired as a manager in a local subway. Monday, i start a week of training, and i'll be the manager of a brand new subway in two weeks. I just don't know a thing about Subway's sandwiches, neither do i can assume the resposabilities of a manager. So, i might become slightly less active in the times to come, but i'll be online every evening, and most of the time during my breaks. That means, enough to give you a training two or three hours a week. (I hate restaurants.)
I apologise for not replying to each and every one of you individually, but I would like to thank you all for the warm welcomes!
