I believe that overpopulation of the world will cause the extinction of humans. Spoiler: Lolfact We should use extra fat from obese people as fuel =P
Ok, well, this isn't exactly an unpopular opinion per say...just not one shared by many people around me. Also, I'll try not to ramble too much. Where I live, the rat race is a pretty big deal. Everyone is always racing around, getting things done, always trying to push forward...but never taking time to smell the roses, to look at the stars, to kick back and enjoy life a bit, free of guilt for not 'doing anything.' My friend always used to be on my case about this. He's always doing something...working, going to school, always planning ahead, always trying to reach some new goal in order to advance to the next stage of his life, and urging me to do the same. Thing is, I don't believe that's what life is about. I don't wanna just keep working to reach the next life milestone that is expected of me. All my life I've always heard the same mantra, "do well in highschool so you can get into college, do well in college so you can get a good job, do well in your job so you can buy a house, get married, have kids, retire, die." Then I started thinking....why? Why is everybody so hell bent on reaching those same goals? On racing through life just to go from one stage to the next? Will my life really be unfulfilled if I don't achieve all those things? If I don't 'achieve my destiny and find my purpose?' Know what came to mind? That really big fat guy from the Simpsons movie; right before he knew he was about to die... he said, "I've spent my entire life doing nothing but collecting comic books...LIFE WELL SPENT!" And I realized that he had a very good point. Maybe life isn't about achieving the set milestones everyone expects you to. Maybe it isn't about finding your purpose or your destiny, or trying to achieve something great. Maybe 'living life to the fullest' is simply about enjoying it, doing the things that make you happy...whatever that might be. Maybe it isn't so bad to have a mediocre job, a mediocre apartment and a mediocre car and spend all your free time watching movies or playing games, if that's what you wanna do. I guess my opinion is this: screw what everyone else thinks you SHOULD do... life is short, enjoy it. Whatever that might mean for you. btw, the stars are really pretty tonight
Off topic, but...Well said. Good on ya! Back on topic: If you're going to be on "Jeopardy!" You should know how to spell. No excuses
I find "A Thousands Miles" by Vanessa Carlton to be the greatest song to play during any action scene in anything. I'm being serious.
I don't like hot drinks. I'm a hippie. I hate physically being with people. I find no enjoyment watching many movies. I don't like any electronic music, especially recent stuff. FF7 and Minecraft are atrociously overrated. Some drugs should be legalized. I don't like dogs or puppies at all. I think The Passion of The Christ is funny, as with many horrors. I never want to live in the US.
Thats what I keep telling people, but many seem to disagree. so add that to the list: I'm a bad person. :derpe:
London isn't the best city in the world and I don't like it that many people say it is. its a dirty craphole and a ripoff your money if you're a tourist. in my opinion
A group of people from my school went to both London and Paris over the spring break and most preferred London over Paris.
