You'll need to be situated with a Google Webmaster account first since that's what you will need to use to [effectively] manage SEO with Google search specifically. I have one connected with EP so I'll take care of it this time. But for the future, talk to Grey on it since he has the Google Analytics still and will need to authenticate you. Just checked my account, looks like I can set you up as well. So we'll talk later instead of bugging Grey. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 4
I'm perfectly happy to help you guys out once in a while - when I have the time - That's not a problem. Just let me know what it is, the worst I'll say is "No I'm busy - sorry maybe next time (or in a bit) - or I don't have a clue how to do that!". But I don't think you need me for analytics, you should be able to set up a fresh one no problem.
I know ^^. I meant that comment lightheartedly and mostly because it was something a bit trivial. Stats would be reset though? Though I suppose it wouldn't matter as much since they'd level out eventually. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 4
I feel like this is one of the highly accurate reasons. I've been hearing that numbers in the fandom have already dropped to somewhere around what they were in the early season 2 days. I also feel like a lot of us on the DJ crew have gotten busy. Another factor I've been hearing a lot is that when one of us can get on, there's no listeners anyway. I know I've played to an empty radio on numerous occasions just to get hours in, and that's incredibly tedious. I feel some kind of schedule so people know when we're available could start to draw more viewers, since they'll know when they can come on and request songs. We also used to have theme music evenings (like an entire session devoted to only Pinkie related songs for example), which I think could be fun to bring back. As to the complaints of nothing but dubstep, there is a lot more brony music out there that isn't dubstep. I know when I do make it on to DJ, I tend to avoid the well known names and dubstep in favor of the musicians who may not be as well known. When we do provide requests, listeners are going to run the risk of having a musician or genre being heavily played that they don't like. You can counteract that by putting in some requests of your own. I feel sometimes some listeners can hog a lot of the requests, so I think setting up some kind of limit of x amount of requests in x number of minutes would keep things fair while allowing everyone to request music.
