Contrary to what you may have seen on the news, mistreatment of Muslims was NOT a common occurrence. In reality, it was a relatively small number of self-proclaimed "patriots" that managed to shame the entire country with their ignorance and hatred.
Okay, that may have been a poorly-chosen screencap on my behalf, since I'm not exclusively thinking of America. But assuming that muslims are terrorists in airports is not okay (I'm looking at you, Heathrow), and neither is assuming that the Uttöya massacre was caused by radical muslims before we knew anything (several Danish channels are guilty of this). But yeah, patriotism can be horrible.
That same kind of profiling is commonplace in American airports as well, as is the "it's Islamic extremists!" conlcusion jumping whenever any high profile violent crime happens.
So I've been trying some lucid dreaming excercises lately. Couple of days ago my mom walked up to me with an old book like 'Omg you have to read this.' It was about lucid dreaming. Dafuq synchronicity.
Hey dudes! It's Thursday and that means we're putting on some Let's Plays again. Come to The Radio for They Bleed Pixels and a couple of hours of Livestreaming with me! Starting right now!
you spelled "aliens" wrong Better than the dreams I have, lol. The other night I dreamed I was playing Skyrim. Except it turned out to be real and I died.
It's even more sad when you're awake and think you're in a game. One time I saw the shadow of an airplane as it passed overhead and my brain thought it was a dragon. I immediately went "Oh sh*t" out loud and reached down to my hip somehow expecting there to be a sword there. THAT was a fun one to explain.
It depends on your level... One of my favorite Skyrim memories was wearing the chef's tunic and hat, and slaying a dragon with a knife and fork. I love Skyrim.
Ugh, everywhere I go around here people are talking about Steam. It's no wonder I never made any friends here.
