This opinion is unpopular? I couldn't think of an earth-shattering unpopular opinion, so here is a lame one: Peanuts are disgusting, and so is any product which contains them. - - Auto Merge - - Oh, and Megan Fox isn't hot, imo. Not even a little bit.
I believe that American citizens should be required to pass a basic intelligence test before being allowed to vote.
That should be true with all democratic nation. along with a new voting system that will discourage voting for someone just because they are of the same party. Anywho: I think that anyone who thinks they are better than someone else just because they have different ideas than someone else. Such as: Liberals thinking they are more "enlightened" then conservatives or conservatives who think liberals are misguided idiots. That kinda thing.
I like Harry Potter but don't subscribe to the "J. K. Rowling is the best fantasy author ever" opinion lots of my friends seem to have. As someone who is typically more Liberal, I don't dislike Conservatives on principle the way many Liberals seem to. I'm just disappointed with the way politicians in general feel the need to pander to small minorities with extreme opinions when said politicians hit the mainstream, politically speaking. I don't really hate any entertainment unless I feel its content has some sort of unethical implication. I don't like Call of Duty and wouldn't pay money to play those game, but at the same time I don't hate it. When I don't like something I just say "That's not for me." I feel like most people feel the need to say they love or hate things, rather than say they just don't care. Following the previous point, I think that people put way too much stock in entertainment. I like video games, television, movies and books. Yeah, you can like whatever you want, but that can't be all your life is. People seem to argue too passionately about some things, as if an opinion about movie could equal a human life in value. Why care at all about what other people think of something you didn't even make yourself? But that's just my unpopular opinion.
I believe all adults should have the right to commit suicide. Assisted suicide for the extremely ill is a big part of that.
I hate how, if you didn't vote for Obama, you are automatically seen as a racist. It IS possible to disagree with his political stance without caring what race he is.
I agree wholeheartedly, back in 2008 I knew Obama would win simply because everyone would want to have a black president, not because of any actual merits. Now, I actually think Obama is pretty good, but it has NOTHING to do with him being black. Nothing. That's a dangerous mentality to put oneself in. Physical appearance just shouldn't be taken into account, period. By that logic I deserve to win the next election because we've never had an otter before
I believe that, despite all of it's problems, the United States of America is still the greatest country in the world.
Okay, that's weird. I hit "Reply with Quote," and it changed Sweden to Switzerland. ... Anyway, what I was going to say is that one of the things that makes America so awesome is the cultural diversity. I've known several people with Swedish roots living in the U.S.
I think the diversity in the US is amazing. It's just a shame that this same diversity is run rampant with the media to make everyone a racist if someone does something stupid.
