And Shameless. And Life on Mars. They've been trying to buy the rights to filming an American Doctor Who Series for years. For the love of Hell plz no.
I challenge someone to come up with ONE half decent American Remake of a British program. Just one. :I I hope that it remains that way! :'<
I know, right? It's not like the American version of The Office was a critically acclaimed hit that lasted for nine successful seasons, or anything like that. Being Human is most definitely a failure. Three successful seasons, with a fourth in the works? Pfft. Oh, and then we have shows like America's Got Talent, American Idol, All In The Family, Top Gear, Undercover Boss, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, Who's Line Is It Anyway?, and Dancing With The Stars. None of those shows even come CLOSE to being as well known as their British counterparts.
I like the American version of Being Human. It has production values and Aiden (Sam Witwer) was also the voice (and likeness) of Starkiller in the Force Unleashed Star Wars games. I liked them too.
I heard about it but never watched it. The British version itself went very downhill so if they managed to improve it then that wasn't difficult, the british version shot itself in the foot so many times. Please, I am half joking, there's no need to take everything so seriously. To say I'm close minded is an insult, I'm anything but that. It is also an 'Unpopular opinion' which is on topic. I'm Sinders, if you take everything I say seriously then you're gunna have a bad time, mmkay? I gave up on watching American Remakes. I can't take this many blows to the heart from shows I love. ;_; I always have loved a diverse range of music. Music and television are different forms of media however. It's very easy to enjoy a cover of a song done well just as equally as it is enjoying a remake done well. However, it is much more rare for television, because as music in some cases has improved, television has not. In my opinion. Which may be unpopular.
Well, it is an unpopular opinions thread. I didn't figure there'd be any interactions, just seeing everyone's interesting opinions. Speaking of which, I think FF7 had a pretty bad story, when all of the pretty dressing up was taken away.
Oh please, I'm rarely ever serious. XD You said I was being close minded. Perhaps you should have specified a little clearer. I don't want a debate or argument over something so trivial~ We could go on and on at eachother about our opposing opinions for as long as we wanted, and it would lead us nowhere. We should all just chill out and learn to take a joke or even swallow a little pride here and there. It ain't hard.
Was I being condescending? Oh dear, I have offended someone without intention. My sincerest apologies. Have them.
Final Fantasy VII is overrated, and I enjoy FFIX, FFXII, FFX, FFIV, and possibly FFVIII and FFIV more than FFVII. I also prefer the new new Doctor Who to the old new Doctor Who (I.e. Steven Moffat over Russel T. Davies).
I have utmost respect for dancers and figure skaters. Except for what they call "Contemporary" dance. I think it's a crock.
Oh, where do I begin. . . Season 3 was the best season, followed by season 2 and then season 1 Twist is really interesting Applebloom is best CMC (From what I've heard, that's pretty unpopular) Hasbro ISN'T evil corporate scum (completely anyways) Twilight Sparkle is best mane 6 Celestia is best princess I like to think of Octavia and Vinyl as both rich off their flanks Lyra x Bon Bon is over rated OC's are pretty cool, when done right
I think Asura's Wrath is the best Capcom game ever created. I also think Megaman is highly overrated.
