    Ah, no. Skype met a virus protection program that didn't like it. It refuses to let me load Skype, and my wife doesn't want to loose the virus protection program. Sorry, but my wife usually wins these battles.

    That said, I am looking around for other Skype-like things - what's out there that people use? Any one still use Yahoo or MSN?

    Oh, and - I would like that room, please.

    Hey Dwynter ^.^ You probably don't remember me but hey anyway. Btw, you can just go into your AV program's settings and allow Skype to access the internet. It's probably only blocking it because it is either loading at start up or attempting to access the internet without your explicit permission. AV programs can be stupid like that.

    Oh, I remember you Frost! I have a bad habit of associating a person's avatar with them, so when they change, I get confused.

    As for the suggestion - Why didn't I think of that? I dunno about me sometimes.

    I hate to hop on and dash away, but it's a bit later than I thought. I'm starting to fall asleep at my computer, and that's never much fun.

    But, I do intend to return. And I'll definitely have to try that when I wake up, or on my weekend, Frost.

    Get better virus protection? Or perhaps whatever you've installed is set to block IMing programs. Some can do that. You shouldn't have to compromise like that for PC protection.
