There's no option for accepting it without judging you?

Anyway, It went a little like this:

Me: Hey, mom, do you think it's weird for a grown man to watch My Little Pony?
Mom: HAHA, you should have sworn me to secrecy.
    Me: Hehe, I kinda am.
Mom: I don't think it's weird. Everyone has that one show they don't tell anyone they watch.

Actually, her and my half brother are the only ones I've told. I know I would get a razzing from the rest of my family. So I guess that means I would rather (if they knew) that they keep it to themselves. I can take a little razzing but sometimes my family can take it a little too far.

Hmm... I really just ended up sitting down with my Mom and watching the first five episodes. She ended up enjoying the show as much as I did, so I ended up getting her a Pinkie Pie plushie for Christmas. Every so often we'll watch a few episodes, but she's more focused on other things. Pretty good there.

My Dad however has absolutely no clue what MLP is and I intend to keep it that way. With very good reason, considering how much of a ruckus he raised when my little brother put an acorn on the neighbor's barbie and pretended it was a GI Joe after he broke his. Yeah...

My mom thinks its the best thing ever and buys me stuff. LOTS OF STUFF.

And my dad just laughs every time I bring it up. And me and him make jokes about it.

Probably doesn't hurt that one of my sisters is transgender. Makes MLP seem WAY more normal.

My family occasionally makes fun of me, but I always remind them of their own fandoms, and they shut up.

My Dad thought it was a cult and my Mum made fun of me. They both don't care anymore, but I still get a little teased when we pass anything pony related. And sometime my Mum will buy me pony merch :D

My Brother teases me occasionally, and my Mum's the silent type. But either way, doesn't effect me. *Shrug*
But I think, over the last year, they've just kinda... Gotten used to it, y'know?

My sister knows but she does not care. I can't tell my dad because he will suspect I'm gay (I'm not). I can't tell my mom because she will think I waste my time, instead of doing something productive.

I buy only the most manly mlp merchandise. It's not an easy task but until I live on my own, I can't buy a doll. Here are some stickers I have hidden under my playstation consoles. When I live alone I am going to buy stands for my ps3, my ps2 has one. Since vinyl has a unisex look to her so it's easier to explain but my wifu fluttershy is another ball game. For now my obsession stays hidden from my perents.

All they see is a dj sticker but not my pink/yellow wifu yelling YAY. I lay my ps3 flat to hide her.

I probably told this story elsewhere, but last April when I was just getting into the show, I went out to a restaurant with my family one night and my parents randomly started bashing on bronies. It was mega awkward, and at that point I decided that I'd never tell them.

...That is, until they found out that *someone* was watching MLP on their Netflix account. No one ever really confronted me about it, though. It was when I bought my first MLP T-shirt that I decided to admit it to my pops - we both love Mega Man, and the shirt I bought parodied the classic robot master select screen. He thought the shirt was awesome, so suffice it to say, he's A-okay with it, even though I still get the sense that he thinks it's a little weird. But he's a huge Internet nerd himself, and is probably well aware of all the pony memes out there, so that probably helps a little.

My mom was a little slower on the uptake, as she only ever asked me about it after she walked into my room one day and saw my collection of pony figurines (which had been there a while). She said, lovingly, that I was a weirdo, and that I was "so totally [her] son." So yeah, she's on board...although she did look a little concerned when I returned home from a con with $200 worth of pony merch.

The only person who gave me a ton of crap about it was one of my older sisters, who was 99% convinced that I might be gay. It got to a point where I basically caught her talking smack about me behind my back, and we had a bit of a falling out for a few weeks. On my birthday, however, she and the rest of the family surprised me with pony stuff, so I think my entire family more-or-less accepts it by this point.

Why are those the only two choices in the poll?

Anyway, at first it was bewilderment, then they were all "I don't get it, but alright."
