I wouldn't say that, you just need to know where the game is going and play your moves three steps ahead. I've had a few instances where I've made a good deal of money on MTG, not the least of which was the Remands I bought a year or two ago for $1.50 each. Earlier this month I sold them back to the card shop for twelve dollars each, and also made about $25 a unit on some Chords of Calling. I'm also saving some foil FTV Bolas for a rainy day; they're already worth twenty dollars more than what I paid for them. And of course there's no shortage of people who make a living off of prize money from tournaments and such. That environment just isn't for the faint of heart, obviously. lol
Wonder trading is such a weird thing. Traded away a bunch of larvesta and got nothing from the GTS worth mentioning other then another ditto. This ditto was able to help me get a pokerus ditto and a Japanese ditto. YAY increase in shiny chance.
