Yes, and you're like, one of the first recruit-able characters available. Ain't that neat? Getting the hunter in your party also makes it so you can open some treasure chests you couldn't without him, (same goes for the thief.)

Sure, why not? My OC needs abetter name, though. I've never been satisfied with "Thunder Roller". It needs to be a name musically or sound-related, but with oomph, since he's a rocker (obviously the rocker part wouldn't apply to this).
