Shootings are just eh. I'm not any more shocked or disturbed by them than I am by hearing there'll be a thunderstorm this weekend. They just happen too often for me to care anymore.
I think I'm going to stop buying cards for myself altogether. In the first place, I think it's kind of a waste of my income, considering I'm a broke and jobless college student, and secondly I really can always throw that stuff on my birthday/Christmas list. I kind of wish there was a free online site for Magic that was as popular as Yu-Gi-Oh's dueling network. That would be cool. Here, here. And yet, it's strangely fun. Yeah, the reason why my friends think I'm so good is actually because they're just bad. Sad but true. Even the people who taught me in high school were mostly bad. They just didn't have the right mindset for it. I mean, they won some games occasionally, but believe me, I am not that good to the point where I should be winning every match. It took me a while to figure out Magic, but once I did, I returned to high school with a vengeance. Now, in college, I don't know quite as many people who play, but I meet one every once in a while and they're alright. But most of those multiplayer games I participated in where in high school.

Well, it's a little different, after all. I've heard of that and I think it's not really comparable to its Yu-Gi-Oh cousin, which is the saddest part.
That's Duels of the Planeswalkers I think, which is an arcade style game. There's an official online one which mimics the real thing, ie. you have to buy booster packs and what not.
