So once again, Google ruined Youtube even more. No matter what I try, it won't let me comment even though i'm signed in with my Google+ account (good luck memorizing an e-mail adress and a password you'll never use, btw). Everytime i click the comment box, a random white pop-up window appears and dissapears, and that's about it. Anyone else have similar issues?
Google's useless integration system ruined YouTube. I'm hoping to find a good alternative that people can abandon YouTube for.
Dailymotion, its where I go when Youtube blocks a video I want to watch or something. Google plus is like that Intellilink on South Park ruins everything!
Can't help you there since I keep refusing to update my channel whenever I'm prompted to - gotta love how it always says "Okay, we'll ask you again later." Yeah, as if my answer's going to change by the thousandth time, right? I'm still not sure I 100% understand Google's intentions, other than to make YouTube more like Facebook by having people use their real names...or something? I don't know, it's just pointless. But to be honest, as long as I can still view videos, that's all I care about. Not being able to comment gives me the ultimate excuse not to counter-troll the trolls, so at least I will no longer be responsible for contributing any more pointlessness to the cesspit that is your average comment section. Still, I feel sorry for anyone who uploads videos, as it seems this fiasco will be affecting them worst of all. A life lesson Google could stand to learn - "If it ain't broke, don't 'fix' it."
Why does that remind me of "Have you tried turning it on and off?" You'd make a great tech support guy. :Trollestia: It does work on a different browser, but that doesn't help me make it work on the browser i wanna use. I'll be damned if i give in to Google by using their chrome crap.
...Forget I even asked. Browsers parse JavaScript differently so that's why I asked; if it was across all your installed browsers or not. And you still haven't mentioned what those are. But whatever Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
I only tried on IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome. So far Firefox is the only one where it doesn't work.
Firefox tab -> Options -> Privacy -> Exceptions add google.com Temporary workaround until they fix that.
If this is what it's supposed to look like, i'm sorry to say it didn't work. (tried both blocking and allowing since you didn't specify) Spoiler
Google just needs to accept that it can't compete against facebook, much like how the zune couldn't beat the ipod. Just let it go google before you alienate the youtube users even more.
The issue is with blocking third party cookies (at first I thought it was the javacript with the comment box, not the case). If you aren't blocking third party cookies that is why it is working.
I wonder what's next... Forcing people to add 89,243 different videos to their favourites before being allowed to sign in?
